Decent portion size. Mediocre to poor food quality. Doner meat tasted old and funky when hot, was slightly more edible the next day cold. Ketchup was very vinegar-y even for a kebab shop. Chilli sauce was nice and had a good spice level. Chilli cheese bites were good and tasted like the ones from McDonald's, though they were not quite as full of cheese as they should have been.
Whenever I go to Lovedean I usually go to Ken's. The food is good and reasonably priced and the staff are always polite and helpful.Food: 5/5
DO NOT ORDER!!!!! Ordered 2 chicken kebabs with salad, they took over an hour to deliver and arrived cold with no salad, refused to refund or deliver new. Disgusting service .
You know you look at the photos of the food, and you think wow looks awesome In reality, it's a different story. The chicken was that greasy, and I could have re fried it at home. Maybe I should have done as the meat was pink and cold on the inside. The pizza wasn't too bad, but the doner kebab come on just like eating old leather no flavour no spices but at least it was hot Never going bk again.
The WORST service I have ever experienced!! Ordered a pizza meal deal and chose Coke Zero for my bottle of drink. They delivered regular Pepsi - so I phoned them and they said the meal deal “…comes with Pepsi, there is no choice with the meal deal” How USELESS is that?!?!? NOT helpful at all, and this was after they had FORGOTTEN TO DELIVER to ice cream we ordered. I’m voting “with my feet” and NEVER buying from there again.
Should be investigated. They rarely change the cooking oil so it's black like tar. Avoid!Food: 1/5
I got a delivery of two kebabs. One was a chicken shish and the other was a lamb doner. Neither of them had salad and the shish had the smallest pitta bread I have I've seen. Very disappointed and annoyed.Food: 3/5
Best fried chicken in the area - me and my partner are addicted to the place The chicken strips are so much better than KFC mini fillets. They are crispy and juicy and the chips are always unreal too with great portion sizes. Much prefer them to any other chicken shop. I’ve always had the best service, the nicest drivers, and they’ve never once got my order wrong - and I’ve ordered from there A LOT I love Ken’s!
Ordered a large pizza with meatballs, pepperoni, jalapeños, tandoori chicken and peri-peri chicken. Also, had cheese and pepperoni crust priced at £3 extra. Meatballs were mushy dogfood with horrible aftertaste, the crust was just cheese and I counted 2 pieces of pepperoni inside the crust I paid extra for and on a large pizza too,I got plain chicken instead of peri-peri. 2 months ago,I also had an 8 piece chicken box from Kens in Milton roadsame place as the pizza,it was "yesterday's" chicken reheated, bone dry and disgusting, took it back and demanded my money back. This place has seriously gone down hill since its refurbishment,I ADVISE YOU TO EAT ELSEWHERE.
Always order from here, our household like it. Good food, quick delivery too. Owners/managers are really nice to speak to on the phone as well. Only thing I’d suggest is a bigger slice of cake when someone orders fudge cake! Other than that is great
