Nice stop in for a cheap bacon sammie. Bacon was nice and crisp, could've used an extra slice but not bad for 1.50 with a free instant coffee.

Had a full english, cheap bacon, hard egg, cold hash brown and greasy mushrooms, and sausages tasted like they were yesterdays and reheated...think the apparant chef might want to clean his pans....the woman who i think owns the place, in front of us went and had a cigarette outside, came back in and handled food....without washing her hands, had a machiato that lookdled and tasted like a latte, wont be coming here again...yes its cheap but the above is exactly why

The café had a great interior and atmosphere, but the food was a let down. The quiche was overcooked such that there was great difficulty cutting through the pastry. The jacket potatoes with cheese and beans was very bland. The coffee was weak and flavourless and the cutlery, dishes and trays were dirty.
