Karwan is an excellent Afghan restaurant, in Luton this is a very good place to eat but have in mind the ambient inside is adjusted for local Muslim population, so the style is not for everyone!nOtherwise the food is good quality and in generous portions, service is very good and Samiya the girl who served is very polite and helpful, the place is spacious and clean with many spaces and tables in two levels, with touch of traditional authenticity of Afghan culture in the traditional beautiful eating benches.nFree small bowls of herbs yoghurt and tomato salsa sauce and a very nice fresh salad is served complimentary which is great.
All I’m going to say is, go there yourself, the food the service & atmosphere is great.nnThe restaurant is very busy, fast paced & quality of food is incredible.nnI personally would order more drinks, in the beginning than asking for more later. It is a Sunday & the restaurant was still packed in a good way.nnVery family friendly, they had baby high chairs. They had an upstairs level.nnThe toilets for ladies are clean, & they had a jug which is essential!nnParking is a bit tricky as there’s non that I saw. We did come in a taxi.nnThey had a gentlemen who opened & closed the doors for customers which is nice.nnSadly we didn’t try desserts. But the Mango Lassi is delicious. I definitely would recommend that.nnThe platter prices are so much better than other restaurants that are high end & outskirts of Luton.nnTheir pricing is so amazing that I genuinely would be sad if they changed it, especially with the portion sizes they give it’s very generous.nnFood nService nAtmosphere nPricennWe were a table of 12 with mainly adults & a few small children.nnKarawan is a hidden Gem, definitely go at your own risk of becoming a regular.
Very nice food, very good and polite staff. The restaurant is clean and busy, we went for dinner at 6 in the evening which was the best time, as around 7 there were ppl waiting near the entrance.nI would recommend their Chapli kebab, kabuli pulao and mango lassi. This time I tried Chopan kebab as well, not for me but if you're a meat lover it's definitely for you. Chicken kebab is okay.nParking is an issue not only for this restaurant but all this area.

Parking is very difficult. Service was good. The food was good. Prices were reasonable. Food was given quickly. There's 2 seating areas. 1 on chairs, and the other is sitting on an elevated surface on the floor.
