Beefeater opened their doors back in 1974, and were driven by a passion for glorious steak. Mouth-watering cuts at mouth-watering prices was their motto. Reassuringly nothing's changed, these things still drive them today and they always will.

All food was deep fried. Couldn't eat the chips as they were so full of oil. Asked for a medium to well steak and was given it rare. Took it back and cooked it more but obviously refried the chips that were on the plate and served the same. My son got Nachos and the beef was cold. Couldn't reheat this as it was covered in the causes. Daughter got a steak that was supposed to be medium but was so well done it hurt her teeth to chew. Meat was also very tasteless. It was very busy but service was not great either.

Been here loads over the years. More recently a few times. Quality of food has dropped ,service is soooooo slow. Had a lobster stack burger today and it was very poor. Not sure what they think a lobster is. Also the chips were well over cooked. Won't be coming back as I've given them enough chances. The warden is much better!

Went for breakfast, self service eat all you can eat. Black Pudding a little salty and scrambled eggs had been under the heat lamp for a little while. On demand omelette is the way to go for eggs. Good service from the staff.

Our starters arrived with our main course. Server said the mains would be re-served after sitting under the heated area. Not cooked fresh. NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL.

2nd visit. Both times had to wait a long time for the food to be served. Food is nice when it arrives. Staff very friendly.
