We had a delicious vegan Sunday roast here, which was delicious, and listened to a great Jazz quartet who playing as part of the london jazz festival. The staff at Karamel are really lovely, chatty and friendly, and the fully vegan food is delicious. We had some apple crumble for dessert which was some of the best crumble I’ve ever had. Such a treat to find a restaurant where everything is vegan, rather than just having to have the one vegan thing on the menu. Karamel is slightly tucked away off the beaten track but well worth the trip, delicious food and a very warm welcome.
I came here for a Sunday Roast and it was absolutely fantastic. There were two roast options and I went for the almond wellington, which not only was super tasty, but had a really nice texture as well. It came with all the trimmings as you can see: roasties, mashed swede, spring greens, red cabbage, peas and a lovely little stuffing ball. The only thing that could make it better is if they were able to make a Yorkshire pudding to go with it. The space itself was nice and open with lots of light, and looked like it would be cool to go there in the evening. The staff was very friendly too. I’m gutted as I’m moving out of the area soon and have only just discovered it, but I’m definitely planning on going back so that I can have the other option steak and ale pie, and one of their yummy desserts. Do yourself a favour, and treat yourself to a lunch from here!!! Parking: Unfortunately there isn’t any cycle parking available, but there was a railing across the street that I was able to secure my bike against.
A wonderfully friendly vegan restaurant, I especially recommend their Sunday roasts with local beer. This is a hidden gem in Wood Green! Vegetarian options: All vegan and good quality and quantity
Great place and venue for food, cake and drinks. We played games at a birthday party and had a lot of fun! Vegetarian options: Vegan
Without a doubt the best vegan Sunday roast in town! I had the pleasure to visit yesterday and I will be a regular for sure! Both the but roast and the “chicken” and mushroom pie were so tasty! The portion are huge so go hungry! Not to mention the Cheese platter, it was the best fake blue cheese and Brie I ve ever taste! as a vegan, I really couldn’t ask for more! Looking forward to try their burgers and pizza too! Amazing job guys!!
Easily my favourite restaurant in London. Amazing community atmosphere, delicious food and all done without any animal cruelty. 100% worth a visit - well, several!
This is a cool place, with acts and DJ's performing although none during our visit. Great food too - although, far, far too much for one person. The trimmings included "golden beetroot" which was a first for me, and rather delicious too.
What a lovely place to be. The service is par excellence as the management and chef are very kind and friendly. The food portions are extremely generous and its affordable. We tried chowmein, pizza, cakes, hot choc, and thali. Everything is vegan and it's a great place for parties with a separate DJ and dance or performance area with door and a nice lounge area too.
Pizza was terrible, undercook and olives taste horrible and too spicy. Music great , sometimes is to intimate… not many people…. Vegetarian options: Vegan restaurant
Cool venue. Main space is open and airy. Smaller side room is arty with comfortable sofas. We had lunch and the vegan food was tasty. We'd like to return, maybe to one of their live jazz evenings.
