When I moved to West Norwood the main road was somewhat disappointing with only one supermarket and countless discount stores and off licences. But the area is slowly but surely transforming and improving. Not sure there is a need for 3 main supermarket chains but the arrival of a cafe like Kahvah was definitely a highlight and I very much enjoy spending my Sunday afternoons there. Bright and friendly atmosphere, very nice staff and compfy sofas and chairs. Really good coffee and great food. I love it and hope it's there to stay.
Totally agree with other feedback on staff having favourite customers, hence better attitudes towards them compare to non regulars. The customer service is well below the appalling status line. Kahvah better mind sharp, there are a pretty nicer bunch of competition along the street of west norwood.
The decor is appealing and looks luxurious so you are tempted to go in. The service is pretty straight forward but pleasant. I find that the customer service can differ between a favouritism of customers i.e. the more regular ones may receive a different 'hello, how are you greeting' vs. the straightforward 'hello what can i get you' one. A good place for a chat but I think the customer service needs a little amping especially with new competition in the area.
I love go to kahvah. I love the way they care for the costumers. Very good decor and ambiance. Love the expresso, the cakes are amazing, special the ones with cinnamon! They serve a amazing Jack potato with a delicious salad. I feel very relaxed when I go there. Unfortunately I can't go so often as I would like because we all need cut our expenses. I was very happy when they open kahvah because it has brought class to West Norwood. Fatima Amaral
Kahvah is a real find on the high street. We have been there a few times and we always get great customer service, and the food is good too.
We go there quite a lot staff are nice coffee is the best in the area hobby enjoyed Sunday lunch
Very nice. Especially compared to all the other crap on the street.
