Being from East Africa, we were very curious to try the restaurant. Excellent Food and great service. We ordered both the mixed tandoori platter and Lamb Biryani and both dishes were delicious. Portions are also very generous. Will definitely go back....

Food is reasonable. Did ask for no onions even though it's the sauce and you can't see it. They put fried onions on the top of the biryani

I had high expectations from this place but that turned into disappointment. I ordered a small biryani and chicken 65. I would never call rice and chicken cubes as biryani (Not the authentic dum Biryani) with an amazingly small portion size as the plate was more about lettuce than Biryani. Chicken 65 was sweet artificial red coloured fried chicken couldn't have been worser than that. That was my first and probably the last visit to the restaurant. Edit: To reply to your comment: No one would expect a fist of rice and chicken for 6.50 & Also it's not just about the portion, I have been eating Biryani all life and know how a good Biryani taste's like. For chicken65 I well know how it looks and taste like, by red I mean it was looking artificial red with no taste and not even a pinch of spicy, it was rather sweet. I would really appreciate if you could take this criticism constructively rather than defending yourself.

Amazing Biryani. One of the best in London. Rest of Indian food can get better to match the true taste and feel. But then again, I don't go here for anything but biryani anyway.

Been going here for over 25 years and my parents have been going here before I was born. I have family photos which old friends from this resturant andbI can tell you that the taste and quality has not changed one single bit. I will most probably be taking my future kids here and hopefully my grand children. This place is hands down my favourite Indian restaurant and I hope they will always be here. Mr Kadiri, thank you for a lifetime of great memories and more memories to come. Oh and dont forget to prder the Beriyan!
