Booked an appointment for 3 people and my card details were taken over the phone, they said if we didnt turn up they would charge me 50%. The next day they rang to confirm the price, I queried the cost but was still happy to go ahead with the appointment. It's seems that because I queried the cost the receptionist said I would have to pay half upfront when I asked why she then proceeded to tell me that I would need to pay all upfront otherwise she would cancel my appointment for my children, she advised that this was normal practice (never have I had to pay upfront before). I paid but asked her to forward me a copy of their terms and conditions that state this which she said she would email across. Half hour later I received a call to say that she was still waiting to hear from the manager to forward my details on however she claimed "I think we should just cancel as there is bad blood and no trust" I asked for her not to cancel as this was a treat for my children and that I would not be able to find anything else in short notice. A couple of hours later I received an email to state that they could no longer provide a service to my children and that they had refunded my money. I tried to ring and speak with the manager but the receptionist thought she would hang up instead. It appears that the receptionist thought my word was not good enough for an appointment that she would charge me upfront and when questioned she panicked and cancelled our appointments. Along with that they stated they were not able to put a colour in a child's hair under 16 however they patch tested my children the day prior which would go against their own health and safety rules. Unprofessional, rude and clearly in breach of consumer rights.

I called in need of an urgent colour fix after a home hair bleach disaster and was told I could be seen that morning. The staff at K2 were amazing and Charlotte worked her magic and within a couple of hours my colour looked great and back to normal. I cannot recommend K2 and Charlotte enough. The whole team were incredibly friendly and professional and I have definitely found my new hairdressers!!

I had my hair semi-permanently dyed which was done very well - a very nice colour! When blow-drying however I felt the stylist was not sure what she was doing - she blow dryed an awkward kink into my fringe making it stick up and look wonky, and asking for loose waves, she simply did a little flick on the bottom of my hair... I was also told it would be £27.50 for a hair colouring, but then when I went to pay they had added an extra £17.50 on for blow drying my hair! There was no mention to this additional cost and I'm sure they would not have let me walk out with wet hair, so a blow-dry surely is part of the colouring process? Was not very happy - felt conned. But the actual colouring of the hair was good quality.

Now the only salon I trust with my hair, lovely staff, Very friendly and professional. Great colourists on hand to get the perfect hair colour that you want. Highly recommend giving them a go!
