K. Malyn has been my Opticians of choice for the last 5years and Kate's new shop is a real treat. This year I got the most wonderful pair of Agatha Frames - super colourful & a little bit different from the norm. As always, the Optician was very kind &  professional and the ladies who helped me choose my frames were so friendly, knowing exactly what suited me. I have no hesitation in recommending.

My wife and I have been customers of Kate and her team for many years and have always enjoyed a very professional, personal and friendly service.  Over time she has detected various eye problems and ensured that we receive proper referrals.  Strongly recommended.

I had a painful irritation in one of my eyes and I was able to book a last minute appointment with Claire late in the day. After looking at the offending eye she suggested I should go straight to York hospital which she rang through and arranged for me. The specialist at the hospital said that if I’d left it another day my eye would have been permanently damaged so as you can imagine I am eternally grateful to Claire! Very thorough and knowledgable, excellent optometrist.
