No organization or just terrible customer service. I have used them multiple times now and will not use them again. I can't get a call back, I can never get a clear answer on scheduling. Feel like I'm being lied to just to make me leave them alone. I am a customer, pay a good amount of money for service, and I can longer be patient. They clearly don't care. O and if you care about cleanliness, they don't put booties on or take of their shoes when walking around on your new carpet. I got a stain once from that. No apology
We recently had almost our entire house carpeted by K Carpet. Salesperson Duke, along with installers Dwight and Brian, were absolutely EXCELLENT in best price, courteous & great customer service and professional installation from start to finish. My wife and I could not be happier! We HIGHLY RECOMMEND anyone to buy from K Carpet. Our bedrooms will be next in the future and we will definitely be coming back to K Carpet! Thank you so much K Carpet!
We had carpet installed in our home in January. The sales portion and timeliness of purchase to project start date was okay and the carpet we purchased is good quality. However, we felt the installers were careless for lack of of a better word. We understand some markings on baseboards are expected, but there were numerous areas of chipped paint on every level of our staircase banister and scuffs on every level of our walls that we had to either spend extra time cleaning or re-painting to fix after install ourselves. The installers were not even carrying large pieces of furniture through the specific areas damaged and it was only the carpet/padding being carried.
Duke was wonderful in helping us decide what we wanted for the living room and den. Did not pressure us into something else that would cost more just to have a sale. VERY accommodating! The installers were the best. One small portion of the room required a seam near the corner. It was a seamless seam believe it or not! Could not be more pleased. The only problem with K-Carpet, is once the job is done and you see how nice everything looks, you want to get the rest of the house redone. Maybe next year?

I highly recommend K Carpet. I began working with Duke as our carpets in our custom home were purchased from and installed by K Carpet. Duke has rallied to accommodate both myself and my clients with various floor covering needs, often on very tight timelines. I very much appreciate the high level of service!
My family and i have used K-Carpet for multiple areas through the 15 years we have owned this house. They laid cork floor in a re-designed kitchen and replaced carpet in the den, staircase and upstairs hall. I have been pleased with the owners as well as the installers. I have recommended them to other folks as well who have been happy with them. As well, this winter the carpet in the family room needed to be cleaned. Mike Kanam recommended a local man to come clean it. He was reasonably priced, and did an amazing job. I have had him back to clean some upholstery as well. As business owners ourselves, my husband and i shop locally whenever possible. If this town and others like are to survive, we have to support local businesses. I would recommend Mike & Duke Kanam of K-Carpet to anyone who asked.
Duke was great! I had a tile that I wanted for the bathrooms and he found it, ordered it and shipped it right on time for a great price. They also installed carpet throughout the house and did a great job. I found Duke easy to work with and his installers were conscientious. My husband and I had a great experience.
We had a major flood in our historic home. The Rec room was ruined. The good people from Design Restoration came out to clean up the water and remove all the soggy berber carpet. We had heard of K Carpet so we called them for advice on what to install to put the room back together. Mike Kanam paid a visit , measured the room , and made a valuable suggestion to put ceramic tile that looked like wood grain on the floor. After the installation we put the room back together with the help of the staff at Laura of Pembroke. Everyone who sees this room comments on the beautiful ceramic floor. We would have never thought of that. And if we ever get water again, no problem. Great teamwork by local people to put us back together again.
Recently had new carpet installed on 2nd floor, hallway, stairs and family room. The install team of Rich and Steve did a great job and were very careful. We're very pleased with the carpet and would definitely recommend K-Carpet to others.
