Order was delivered extremely quickly which is always a bit of a red flag. The food was awful, all of it was tasteless and dry, it looked as though it had been sat around for days. The highlight was probably some mediocre prawn crackers. I'd recommend avoiding at all costs.
I went in there and I orders chicken chow main and when they were preparing it I saw rats flying past and I jump and screemed and ran also they shout a lot
I was debating whether to give three or four stars, went for three in the end because they got one of the dishes wrong pineapple instead of orange duck. It was annoying as the person taking our order repeated it back to us correctly. Also three stars because the crab claws cost £4.20 yet it was just three very small breaded crabmeat bits, exactly like ones I've bought a big bag of frozen from an Asian shop before very cheap. Very disappointed with them. My chow mein noodles were alright but just very standard, not as enjoyable as ones I've had elsewhere, and could've done with more of the toppings. The vegetarian tofu dish we got seemed to be the best of the lot. The staff were lovely and you get free prawn crackers with sauce if you spend over £12. Overall, not bad, but could be improved. Would probably go again if hungry and fancied Chinese in the area but would check the dishes came out correct before walking home and I wouldn't get the shrimp chow mein again. I'd also avoid the starters in case they were also as tiny as the crab claw one was.
Very poor first and last time I will be ordering food from this establishment!!! Was enjoying my Singapore fried rice then stumbled across some type of plastic in my food!! Called back to let them know the situation and was told to take a picture of it and send it to them. They gave me two different numbers which didn't work they then hung up the phone when confronted with the Truth very poor customer service.
Super cheap and flavorful food! Cute chef just chilling with the wok in the back, big boss vibes.
Absolute shambles of a place, dim witted rude staff at first didnt want to refund the God aweful, rubbery, slimey tastless malaysian satay beef, i i asked for special chow mein but it only had prawns, no chicken, pork orbeef and they said i had ordered it. The chef shouted at me, I should have lobbed the vile dish all over the counter, never again, AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
I only have ever got sweet and sour chicken Hong Kong style it's absolutely delicious that's all I ever have from them I love it
Overcooked soggy noodles in the chow Mein. Slimy bleached white chicken in the black bean sauce. Bamboo shoots with a texture like carpet. All 3 dishes tasted of stale cooking oil. I picked up from the restaurant if you can call it that. It is just a stinky waiting room for just eat drivers on zero hours contracts peddling food made with zero love. AVOID IF YOU ARE ANY WAY INTO YOUR FOOD
Just got out food and I'm not even worried how it will taste as I already know. This place really is that good. Have been coming since 2003 when they first opened and I Live in the other side off Hackney.
The best Singapore fried rice I've ever had in London, fresh ingredients and well flavoured
