Beautiful place, handy to stop when driving up north, clean toilets, plenty of picnic benches, decent playpark

Great location, lovely place for a walk. The council could definitely do more, the play ground is a bit worn, and the outside gym equipment was removed and the site just blocked off with ugly fencing. Toilets are never that clean. High rating for the location and great, free car park.

Flat green walking area on the shore. Paved footpaths. A decent child play area with ladders, swings and slides, and soft rubber pavement. Full of young kids and mothers on a sunny day. Plenty of local joggers and dog walkers.  An open band stand used by Salvation Army pipe bands and the like in summer. An ice-cream and coffee parlour. No wifi. Toilets work but are dirty. A reasonably sized parking lot, free but time restricted, and closed during the dark hours.

The park sits right on the lough, offering great views across to Holywood. You can get teas, coffees, snacks and ice-cream at the café and there are toilet facilities.nThere is a large open green area on either side of the car park which is great for family outings and picnics. There is also outdoor gym equipment if you're feeling energetic!nThe area on the right of the car park has a well equipped playground for kids of all ages.nLovely place to relax and watch the world go by. You might even be fortunate enough to catch a brass band playing in the bandstand.

Excellent leisure area,,with walks free fitness machines great family play area coffee shop and washroom facilities.nStill good facilities fitness machines starting to  wear and tear but overall still lovely area to goto for relaxation..nStill awaiting a promised upgrade by counci but still lovely place to visit with family or petsl
