Visited Jon Paul’s last week and was greeted and welcomed as soon as we walked in. We spoke about colour schemes and styles that we liked, and my partner was able to try on suits to see what we preferred. The service was very professional and made us feel comfortable. Cannot thank Jon and Mitch enough for their service and looking forward to our final fitting.

Hired  a suit for a child at £60  for wedding. Child caught covid so couldn't go.  They refused a refund as suit had been altered, which I can understand but the full £60  I'm sure no alteration cost £60 a partial refund should have been given at least.

I was let down 6 weeks before my wedding,  Jon Paul's Rose to the occasion kitting out my party of 4 with exactly what I wanted . So helpful , kind . 100% recommended and will always use these for flthe future . Fantastic service

Amazing service & friendly staff. My wedding had to be moved due to an illness in the family which they had no problem & were so helpful with sorting things out for the change of date & sorting new appointments.  Jon is a lovely gentleman as is the young man & the lady that I had dealt with, they all went above & beyond & I couldn’t be more thankful to them.  We had the Blue Tweed speckled suits which looked amazing & they were happy to accommodate us with cravats instead of ties.  I just want to say a big Thank you to Jon & the staff at Jon Paul I appreciate all you did for me!  Andy Starbuck

I am incredibly disappointed and feel let down by the service at Jon Paul Swadlincote. I met a representative at the Swancar wedding fayre. I feel in love with a suit on display at the event and the lady who we spoke to was friendly and personable and gave us a really positive impression of the company. I was very excited for my partner to come and take a look at the suit I had in mind.  I asked what would be the best way to progress - we were told that we can drop in anytime to the store to have an initial look and try on and then go from there. She even looked at my wedding dress / bridesmaids dresses and we discussed colours etc. The only thing she did say was to drop down before Spring as it becomes more busy.  Well today, me and partner excitedly booked the day off to drop in. I had previously messaged on facebook a couple of weeks before no response, and, had tried to call ahead no answer, left message.  We got to the store and it was honestly the most awkward experience. There was one other customer who was collecting suits so this experience was not due to being very busy with other customers. There was one young gent there who tried to help - upon us questioning him. No-one greeted us, said hello, asked how they could help.  We asked if we could try on but it was just an awkward "yes" with no offer to actually help or explain the process. My partner was asked his size - but they only had trousers in 3 sizes too big. "oh, well we will just try the waistcoat and jacket on then" - to then tell us that they didn't have any - they had all been rented out.  This means - on the advice of Jon Paul staff we didn't just rock up off our own back, we wasted a day off work, travel time etc and were made to feel like we were so very unwanted.  I loved this suit and we would have been a very easy sell if even the minimal of customer service was put in place. The other person at the shop didn't even look at us or acknowledge us at all and I have an inkling that the gent serving us was very new / inexperienced no disrespect to him I am sure he felt very on the spot.  It was frankly just an awful experience and quite rude too.

Amazing service from start to finish.  With lovely  staff who genuinely care you get what you want and what is right for you.   It’s true that you cannot buy experience and it showed though when we Brought our son for a prom suit. Everything you need is supplied even shoes if you wish.   And I would recommend you to anyone.  Will certainly be back when needed.   Take care.

I had a suit custom made for me elsewhere which unfortunatley was not due to arrive in time for an important meeting. On the day of the meeting i made a dash to John Pauls in the desperate hope of finding a suit to hire for the day. When i arrived i was met by a young smartly dressed lad though i cant remember his name, he had managed to put together a suit for me within 5 mins he was able to size me the perfect fit and in less than 15 mins i was on my home to get changed and off to my meeting I was very pleased and happy and would love to say thank you to him for saving the day i certainly owe him a beer :

Great selection of suits and at reasonable prices. Always very frienly and helpful.  As a wedding photographer I see and hear about lots of different suppliers - I always hear nothing but good comments about the suits and service they offer here. The suits always look great and fit well, which helps my photos look good too when they grooms look the part!  I would recommend them from both a professional point of view, and from a customer point of view having worn their suits at weddings myself.  First class!

Hired two suits from this branch, we received lovely service. Quick and professional- they cover everything we required for a formal event. We hired two tuxedos and two pairs of shoes. Price-wise I say it was reasonable for the quality of the suits. We had them for three days and any adjustments can be addressed before picking them up. They accept card payments.
