Jolter Press is a great place to come for a relaxing pint of locally made 100% juice cider and perry. There are snacks and often cheese rolls available with complimentary pickled onions. The prices are very reasonable and the quality outstanding.
Great little friendly bar and shop for cider lovers everywhere. Pat is very knowledgeable about his cider and is happy to chat and recommend different varieties depending on where your tastes lie. Definitely worth a visit.
A fabulous find! We were made to feel very welcome and the tap room is fabulous. We arrived not long before closing time but we were able to try the ciders before stocking up on bottles to take away. Very friendly and helpful host.
Best place to hangout and drink cider in the Forest. Monthly comedy night is acts are far superior than most of the top British acts too. Our go to place!
First off... The owner of this place is an absolute sweetheart of a man! Hes super friendly and he could charge extra for his drinks but doesn't. Its a quirky little number thats comfortable and laid back with plenty of cider options. They have a shop that sells bottled cider to take away and also serves tea, coffee and soft drinks. They dont have a card machine but they do accept cash or bacs bank transfer It was by chance we found this place and happy we did as we stayed til closing time and the owner was nice enough to give us a lift to a restaurant out of town although i wouldnt go there expecting that. Highly recommended if you want a friendly place with good variety of music and cider.
Best place on the planet! Pat creates outstanding cider and perry - he's an wonderfullly passionate and experienced apple and pear dude, and possibly the best and funniest guy you will ever have the pleasure to meet. Just keep him away from your mother. Great vibe in the bar - but take a coat and long Johns, and watch out for the ladies. Locals, tourists and those simply coming from afar thanks to word of mouth mingle as one thanks to the dynamo that is Pat. Highly recommended!
Love this place. Pat runs a great little bar selling his own local cider. Relaxed and friendly and very reasonably priced! Pop in for a Squeal or three on a Friday night. Saturday afternoons in the summer as well I believe..
Brilliant place to get a cider and find out about the local area. Very helpful, interesting and engaging owner and local regulars. I highly recommend a visit!
Wonderful atmosphere and friendly staff. I don't usually like cider that much but all of Jolter's ciders and Perry taste lovely and I have now found a new found love of Jolter's Squeal. Good value for money aswell. Will definitely be coming again.
