Possibly the best chippy in Stroud? I went to Rick Stein's chippy in Padstow recently and these guys have him beat. Great, light, crispy batter, high quality fish, and great chips. If you live in Cashes and you like fish and chips, you've won to postcode lottery. Probably not the cheapest in town, but generous with the chips, so even a regular chips is sharable if you don't need big portions. We've been going once every month or two since we moved in 18 months ago, and they are consistently excellent.
Very nice to have the option of a mini cod and it was delicious. The chips were okay, but I had salt & vinegar instead of only salt which I asked for. Nevertheless, staff are quick and hardworking.
Not the Best in the West but, pretty much up there, Nice Chips, Burgers are pretty good. Everything is Always Freshly Prepared and Cooked. Always Busy, which is a good sign. The photo I have added was taken approx 8-15pm on a Monday Evening . Just to show how busy they always are.
In my opinion The best chip shop in the area. Friendly staff. Excellent food. Lovely crispy batter. All the food tastes fresh. Highly recommend going.

Arguably the best fish and chips in Stroud. Never greasy, crisp batter and fresh fish. The Chinese style curry sauce is fabulous

Beautiful crispy fish lovely light batter chios were a little on the crispy side we had lots of crispy bits rather than big chunky chips but overall was a lovely hot dinner
