The staff there Kerry and Luke couldn't have been more helpful, excellent service and prices were good too.
Good knowledgeable advice available too.
Probably worst experience I have had. Arrived with my partner and was greeted by a ‘group’ of staff hurdled together behind the counter with blank faces. Customer service very poor. When I did ask for assistant we managed to get the attention of one of the staff who did seem to want to move from his spot behind the counter.There was no greeting. How do these people get jobs when they show little interest in customer service? I doubt I will return after that visit
Clean tidy place, staff are polite and friendly, the service is top and it's all free delivery with very good pricing what else can you ask for
As the name suggests it's pretty much just paint and decorating equipment, but the products are very good quality and the staff extremely helpful and knowledgeable. There are probably cheaper places but I've done decorating projects faster and better thanks to their recommendations, which is more important to me that saving a couple of quid
Love the mixed colours. Lovely coverage. However I am currently painting a light peach wall with Johnstones white satin emulsion and the coverage is poor. 5 coats later and It still needs at leastnother coat. Frustrating as I am paid to do this and so far with lounge and stairwell has taken me 2 days more than accounted for. Will never use this again or recommend it's use. Such a shame.
I had a wonderful time at Johnstone's Decorating Centre. Not only did I get all the paint I required, I was regailed with amusing anecdotes by the staff. All were very friendly and Gareth gave me a cuddle when I started crying for no apparent reason. I spent the whole day there. The staff loved it when I explained Brexit through the medium of interpretive dance. Although I was told off at one point and made to stop making forts out of the 10L paint tubs, all was forgiven when I loudly recited the poem I'd written about my day there. Overall, I can't recommend Johnstone's enough. Especially if you want paint. I do advise bringing a sleeping bag, though. I needed a nap halfway through the day and the sofa in the staff room was very uncomfortable and smelled vaguely of Stella Artois. Thanks again to Gareth, Neal and the other one for letting me make a Wig Wam out of lining paper.
Good friendly and helpful staff more than happy to recommend
Good - they know what they are doing there and can quickly mix almost any colour paint.
Definitely a one stop shop for all your needs. Was I just lucky? Well, I was impressed by the way I was treated.
