Excellent agricultural and garden equipment retailer, good staff, good knowledge, with good service department

First time visiting today 23/2 to buy a new lawnmower and the staff went above and beyond. The particular one I wanted wasn't in the shop and was asked if I wouldn't mind waiting while they get one from the warehouse, 20 mins later all set up ready to go and even put some petrol in it. Excellent thank you

I'd never heard of H Pigney & Son before coming across them having searched 'high & low' online for a Evergreen Wizz spreader most of which were unavailable / out of stock.  Fantastic service from start to finish, placed my order online & received it within 48hrs via very fast &  'trackable' delivery - many thanks to all concerned.

Lovely surprise on my journey, got to stop in a lovely town and I found the fuel to be a great price, filled up my tank and staff were very helpful and efficient. Shall make a point to refuel here whenever I next pass through the area.

Absolutely a brilliant hardware shop, not many about with the amount of quality products. I was like a kid in a sweet shop. Even sell proper tractors.

Fantastic ironmongers and farm suppliers. It sells everything from pots and pans through nails and paint to quad bikes and tractors. It's rather like the tardis; looks small outside,  but once inside it just keeps going on and on. Oh, and it's got the cheapest petrol station in Appleby.

Extremely helpful and polite, one of the original hardware stores that's like Aladdin's cave. The only reason for 4 stars is they can be a little pricey but that asside....what a store
