We try to bring you unrivaled customer service along with the cutting edge in Carp and Specialist tackle, we are constantly looking out for the newest ideas and products that will try and put more fish on the bank for you. We hold a huge stock of gear and are pretty confident that if you want it we will have it, if not it is only days away!!

I've been using Johnson Ross in Hoddesdon for a while now, and I've always had a great experience. The staff are genuinely helpful and really know their stuff, they're always happy to offer advice without making you feel pressured into buying anything. They also seem to have everything I need in stock. It's a great local fishing shop with excellent customer service. Highly recommended!
The best tackle shop in the UK by far .nThe sales staff all know there stuff and are very friendly and helpful.nIf ever I have had a problem with any item they have sorted it straight away .nThe custom built rods I ordered from them recently were exactly what I asked for with every little detail noted and relayed to the rod builder . I am fussy ! nStaff always go the extra mile to provide the perfect service .
Following the loss of my partner. Anthony and the staff were so caring. They offered me a trade in on my Trakker 200 for a 100. I can’t thank them enough. Not only the best tackle shop around for stock, you can be assured you will get the best service. Thank you so much. Richard
Bought a bivvy. Had a slight leak. Shop arranged collection next day, and sent new one same day. They did not have same one in shop so arranged from another supplier. Fantastic service. So much so bought new tri carp barrow from them next day.. Fantastic service. My now go to for big purchases. Thank you Anthony
Been shopping at Ross for years. Cannot fault anything. Extremely friendly staff and Extremely knowledgeable.nI bought a receiver from them which I managed to accidentally damage the battery door. I emailed the shop. They replied almost instantly and said they'd sort a new one out for me foc. Less than a week later ive got my new battery door. Absolute 5 star service. If i could rate 6 I would.
