I am a regular JV customer and have bought on line and in store. My recent in store experience was exceptional. Paul in the London store, Conduit street, not only remembered me and my daughter but he remembered the last t shirt I got in the store. Exceptional customer service.
I would recommend Paul Martin to get you the best outfit. Spark customer service.
I recently had an incredible experience at John Varvatos, where the standout element was undoubtedly the exceptional service provided by Bahram. Overall, John Varvatos is a haven for both fashion enthusiasts and music lovers, and Bahram's expertise made it an unforgettable visit.
Extremely rude and arrogant behaviour from the salesman, my plans were to buy two jackets but do to lack of service I left with none. I'm a loyal Varvatos customer but the London store can't be compared whit the US stores, in US thay know how to get the customer satisfied and are good salespersons, if the London store are to survive they need to change the personals.

Great wears, rocked-themed props and furniture. Absolutely horrible having 4-5 shop attendants starring at you while you look around at the items. Near impossible when one of them is literally on your back tracking your every move around the shop upstairs and down. Won't buy anything from here.
JV is one of my all-time favorite brands and has phenomenal styling while offering excellent quality. That being said, the brand is a 5-star rating for me, but the London location is a terrible 'face' for the brand. I'm a US expat living in Switzerland and will stick to online shopping the sizing is very consistent or visit the Moscow location. We visited the London location over the weekend and the customer service was like that of a used car lot in America. The staff was pushy to the point of desperate and clung to you in the most uncomfortable way. When 'pitched' their most expensive jacket mind you - it was beautiful I explained I can't do the suede since in a wet Swiss climate. The response was a suggestion to 'just spray it with protectant'. Who buys a 2500£ jacket for a wet climate and sprays it with water protectant? After shopping with my wife and having great customer assistance elsewhere that was 'available for questions' or 'able to put something aside for us' this was quite off-putting. My intention was to try on and purchase some jeans, pants, and other outerwear but the vibe was terrible, so I quickly wrapped up our visit. I had intended to purchase another leather jacket but was contemplating which I preferred and was opting to swing by the following day since we were staying in the neighborhood. To make matters worse, I had found a simple sweater and was checking out rapidly only to learn moments after purchase it was 350£. It didn't have tags but looked like one that was 200£ so thought nothing of it while they found one with tags. When we returned to return it, we learned there's a no-return policy even though it was freshly wrapped still. I had to use it as credit for the jacket instead. I'll make the additional purchases online, but I really hope this location improves in the future. It looks and feels incredible inside but that quickly dissipates once you experience the customer service.
Absolutely terrible customer service for overseas buyers. I purchased a shearling jacket on the 26th of December online, it arrived approximately a week and a half later. The item did not fit so I arranged to return it for a refund.......... They confirmed receipt within a week or so, and yet despite this, my money was not returned for 8 weeks! I called and emailed every other day for two solid weeks and being told that my money would be returned within 48 hours, or that there was a note on the system to be processed. But to be honest, nothing was being done. It was only when I called again and happens to speak to a switched on member of staff who literally returned my money within a few minutes- I received the PayPal comfirmation notification whilst on the phone to her. I didn't get her name but THANK YOU. The rest of the staff however were as helpful as a vacuum cleaner after an earthquake. Genuinely poor service, I would highly advise against buying online if you're not based in the USA. Absolute shame.
Have a neurological disability which makes wearing masks difficult. Staff wanted to see some kind of card before they’d let me in the store. ‍
Staff very helpful and friendly. Check out each floor. It is a big store.
