We went to Johns because the new glasses my husband got from my usual opticians were not correct - he couldn't see properly in them and this was seriously affecting his daily life.  He had a thorough eye test, which showed up what the problems were with the new lenses and also the fact that the glasses did not fit properly, which meant they were constantly slipping down. My husband now has new glasses and all the problems have been solved, so his life is much easier for him. All the staff were lovely and we will be going back to Johns from now on.

I recently visited Usman at John the opticians. It’s a friendly, professional set up with a relaxed no rush feel. I was able to choose glasses that were different from the run-of-the-mill glasses you find in the average High St opticians. I would highly recommend them.

I've been going to Usman for a couple of years. He identified my cataract problem quickly, where others hadn't. He organised for surgery quickly too. The glasses I've had from John's have been very good quality. Not cheap, but lasting well. The lenses are high quality too. Usman clearly is professional and I recommend him.

A very pleasant experience. Usman gives you a lot of time with personal advice regarding your eye health as well as choosing your glasses. Highly recommended.

I've been going to John's opticians for a great many years. I like the fact that they are independent. I never feel hurried and have lots of opportunities to ask questions. Although not the cheapest, the quality of their glasses and work is excellent and more than once I have been able to save money by reusing frames.

Come to this independent opticians and experience what it feels to be treated as an individual and not rushed through to a hard sell point of purchase. At Johns Opticians I appreciated an unhurried and very friendly service with caring professionals who took the time to discuss my needs and options and to answer any questions I had about the health of my eyes.

A really professional and friendly local opticians who I've been going to for over twenty years. They are well equipped so can do the full range of eye tests including field test, and can also photograph the back of the eye to monitor changes over time. Very helpful too when it comes to choosing the right pair of glasses.

As usual excellent service - loved the new glasses. Very thorough eye test, feel confident they are looking after my eye health well. Friendly and helpful staff.

They take care to make the whole customer experience as efficient and effective as possible. I recommend JO as a local provider, they put in the  time and get things right. I always leave as a totally satisfied customer.

The overriding experience with Johns Opticians is their desire to provide a high quality service which meets their clients’ expectations. Understandably this comes at a price but, like anything else,  when it comes to eye health, it is worth paying for the personal attention to detail and service which Usman and his team give to their clients.
