My family and I were impressed by the way John Meynell Funeral Directors arranged my husbands funeral. Tracey came to see us, she was lovely and very efficient. She saw to everything, and was there if we needed her for anything. Can't praise them enough.
My Uncle Tom passed away in September 2021 and will be sadly missed he had taken out a funeral plan with John Meynell as the appointed funeral director. The service given by John Meynell was exceptional and nothing was to much trouble we were guided through the funeral process by Andrew who was very sympathetic and gave valued advice. The funeral went without a hitch and special care was given to my mother who is a wheelchair user, the chosen vicar was excellent and gave a good service, the follow up from John Meynell has been very reassuring and we will be happy to take out our funeral plans using this funeral director Ian Stevenson
Andrew and his team were exceptional from the start. Nothing was a problem, were there every step of the way for my mums funeral. Absolutely everything first class from the cars to the flowers professional and dignified they looked after mum and us. Very happy with their service and would recommend highly. Thank you
Andrew Radcliffe and his staff at John Meynell couldn’t have been more helpful, supportive or sympathetic to myself and my family during the recent very sad loss of my mother. They made a difficult day easier with their professionalism and compassion shown to all of us.
I would like to thank Tracey from John Maynell's funeral directors in Darlington for taking care of not only my late father John King but also for taking care of me whilst arranging his funeral she was always happy to listen and to give comfort throughout the whole process and she treated my dad with dignity and care and was happy to do as I asked and she and Jodie the Celebrant both helped immensely especially at the Chapel would highly recommend both John Maynell's and Jodie McCombie Civil Funeral Celebrant
So pleased I picked meynells when my mam passed away they are really excellent the way they treat you the service everything was really good Andrew the director and his staff are all lovely people I can't recommend them enough thank you all from me and my family
Everything was professional from start to finish. Dignified and respectful.
Excellent service in all aspects from the team at John Meynell. We had to have my mother moved into their care very early in the morning the lady and gentleman who attended to her were very kind and treated us all with the upmost of dignity. Tracey was faultless thoughout the whole process and kept us up to date on all the proceedings from start to finish everything was perfect we had a wonderful service at the crematorium conducted by the celibrant Jodie McCombie. A perfect and fitting end to my mothers final journey. Many thanks to all.
