Planning a funeral is never easy, but all at Gibsons Bishop Auckland handled our sons funeral like they were our closest friends. Every step of the way they were professional, friendly, kind and respectful. We can never thank them enough for making an extremely hard day go so smoothly, they allowed us to grieve and not worry about arrangements.
What can I say from start to finish of dreading it to the last detail at the end it was a blur they made it so easy with particular thanks to Ryan he helped so much made it easy and we had a laugh as well I could go on but you can't go wrong so hope this helps people in the future .
Thank you Victoria for looking after Lynn for me. I can honestly say that you were so supportive, understanding and professional. I would never have managed without you. Thank you Matthew for the dignified service, help and support on the day. I could not fault anything. The catering was also superb, thank you making the effort. It went down very well with the guests. Even all of your office staff are so helpful, friendly and kind.
Today Gibsons helped us say goodbye to our mother, absaloutly brilliant service and the gentleman driving our car 2nd was amazing with us, Thank u so much for everything you have done
I cannot praise the service provided by Gibson’s enough. Sadly, we’re having to deal with our third death in 6 months and Gibson’s dealt with the first in May of this year. I hadn’t appreciated just how good they were never having had anything to compare until now. My mother has died and she had a funeral plan with the Cooperative. Dealing with them had been quite stressful as unlike Gibson’s who provided me with a single contact point throughout, I was initially directed to a call centre in Manchester and thereafter have had to deal with a variety of people in Bishop Auckland. Equally, whilst Gibson’s provided ready solutions to problems such as music choices, I’ve had to push the Cooperative to find answers to similar issues. It’s clear to me that the Cooperative Funeral Service is a corporate model, Gibson’s is a personal one- cannot recommend them enough and they made a difficult time easier.
Gibsons were fantastic. Our funeral director was so kind and diligent; he helped us get exactly what we wanted for my sister's funeral down to the very last detail. He was accommodating and flexible and incredibly efficient and just a really nice man. I could not have asked for better service and I would highly recommend Gibsons to anybody looking for top class service.
Family won’t go any other place. Fab service
