Had to bring back my Nespresso to be fixed under JL extended warranty, a bit of misunderstanding about who was going to do the repair. That was 2 weeks ago and I'm here to collect as I'm told it's ready. So it's possible that 5 stars is premature as I haven't got my hands on the machine but the service has been pretty quick and JL free extra year of warranty has saved me the cost of replacement or repair.
This is one of our favourite shops, the customer care is second to none, the quality of it's products is excellent. Our go to choice for electrical items and white goods.
Lovely shop if you can get served, went to purchase a handbag for my wife waited nearly ten minutes at the til for the lady to finish her story a out her holiday to another customer, only to be told after waiting she was busy for a while with these people and if I went to the other side of the store they would serve me. Its not the first time I've been ignored in this shop maybe you have to look a certain way to get served.
As ever spot on service from a helpful and engaging member of staff. Probably wouldn't have bought the product at that point if it wasn't for the service. Spoke at length and with good knowledge of the product and happily price matched to an online rival. We will continue to shop there as we are always made to feel more than welcome. Don't mind sometimes paying a little more than elsewhere for the service and aftercare.
Visited today for the first time since the refurb and covid 19. Love the new look store, very well laid out with some familiar brands and some new ones. One of the most covid secure places I've been to. The staff very friendly and helpful. Had a hot chocolate at the Ori cafe, very nice indeed. Will be visiting again soon.

Really helpful staff. Went in to buy a laptop and had great service. Insurance cover is much cheaper than PC World at £65 for two years. On top of this, a selection of 'returned' laptops are available to buy, in perfect condition and heavily discounted. Excellent customer service.
Absolutely disgusting excuse for Customer service. Ordered two tablets for our children for Christmas, a box delivered today, later found out by Amazon, only one tablet in the box. Called straight away and after 38 minutes, told that they're confident they put two in the box, so there's nothing they can do!!!!! Never been so appalled, no help or offers to investigate with the courier, not even asked if the box was damaged in any way, completely brushed off and meant to just take a £180 loss... Now on hold to my bank, but will not drop this, it is the worst service I have ever encountered.
A new laptop was required. Having purchased the last one from John Lewis I decided to go back and ask their advice in purchasing a new one to suit my requirements. A young man advised me and was very patient, answering all my queries I am no computer buff I can tell you but walked away happy in the knowlede that I had been given unbiased advice. I am so happy with my new HP laptop. Thank you John Lewis again for your trusted advice and excellent personal service
The store is set out well with plenty of room to be able to drive my buggy around. The store was very hot. We went into the cafe/restaurant which we found VERY expensive. Sausage and chips - £8.60. So we will not be going there again. All in all it was a good experience and staff were helpful and friendly.
