Awful, Awful, Awful customer service. I'll never purchase another item from John Lewis. I bought a Fuji underwater camera from John Lewis - cost around £130 so not a cheap thing. The shutter button stopped working within months of purchase. Contacted customer services and advised that I'd need to return the item to store. I tried to negotiate a replacement or at least a collection at a time convenient to me and Bearing in mind it's a good half hour drive each way, NO other options were available. I drive the item to the store and I was told that the camera would go off for repair, should be back in a week or two. The camera couldn't be repaired by the repair agent, so had to go back to Fuji. This whole process has taken a month so far and i've not yet got the camera back. Seems the John Lewis 'technical call centre' can't make outgoing calls to me, so couldn't contact the repair agent, or Fuji to progress the repair, and then ring me back - unbelievable. It definitely seems that I am doing all the hard work, just to try and ensure I get the camera back before my holiday. Once the camera does eventually return, it has to go to back to store, so there's another hour out of my day to look forward too, fetching the replacement from the store. Had I ordered from Amazon, it's likely that the item would have been credited or replaced within 48 hours. Don't order from John Lewis, just don't do it to yourself. Pitiful service from this 'prestige british brand' You should be ashamed.

Spent about 45 minutes trying to buy a microwave. Got given the wrong one that had been mislabeled. Asked for postcode several times, because it's a financial transaction. You don't need my postcode! I've got money to buy a microwave, just sell it to me and make sure it's the right one. Still not able to get one from John Lewis until tomorrow. That is if it's not been mislabeled.

Expensive but lovely things and great to browse and get ideas. Helpful staff and nice coffee in the cafe

Plenty of free parking. Store nicely laid out and plenty of choice. Friendly knowledgeable staff

The driest cheese scone I have ever tasted and I had to sit at a filthy table with crumbs and rubbish on thr floor. Went to M&S today instead.
