Was a regular customer but more recently having more negative experiences here, so I'll try jolly fryer from now on. Made a complaint today re order of 2 fish. The batter was soggy and undercooked. Tasted like fish wrapped in pancake. They weren't interested in my complaint, wanted me to drive back in rush hr so they could have a look at it. Explained I didn't have time to go back and forward so I'll just post the pic here. Staff are aware myself and family members had been regular customers but they didn't care less. Prices continue to go up and orders are often incorrect. The shop is always empty, the reasons are obvious!

They say there batter is glutton free, not sure about that but I can tell you it is flavour free. The chips taste of nothing and the gravy was unspeakable bad. Over priced rubbish never going back.

john dorys behind nickols fuil garrage before roundabout just had curry and chips lots of chicken and sause your ladies serving were very polite very curtious nice to see some have good manners definetly use again they are a credit to john doors and this is from an ould lad of 70

This is the best chippy for chips. The best chips I've ever had. The fish is also first class. Well done to all the staff who are doing a sterling job

I ordered from John dory’s Carryduff this evening, when I arrived home with my order I found that a portion of chips was missing and there was no salad on my burgers which I had ask for.. for the price that I paid I would be expecting for my order to be correct!

They always get your order incorrect. The fish portions have been rediculous lately. A lot of the menu is overpriced.Food: 1/5

Fast, delicious, good selection for fish and chip shop. Staff friendly. Premises clean. Unfortunately on last visit the batter on the fish could have been better, crispier. Price is just okay.

This is the second time my order has been wrong asked for a half pound cheeseburger which was the size of a kids burger they claimed they don’t do half pounds never heard of any chippy that doesn’t do themplace is a joke now the young ones working there haven’t a clue won’t be back! standing there giving me dirty looks as well not paying for a kids burger the owner needs to seriously have a word with them.
