The whole system is flawed. You have to make 5 calls before the DWP send a direct message to the Job Centre asking them to call you back. It isn't the fault of the people who field this number it is the fault of whoever set the whole system.up. What's the point of trying to call in to speak to your JC contact when they cannot be bothered to return your calls?
What a Terrible Service this is, no matter how many times you call you never get through to this branch to speak to someone locally, as for the Virtual Assistant, well you have to pronounce things 4 or 5 times before it comprehends, this is so stressful and an Inept service, which really takes its toll when you have a serious illness.
Vile institution. No help just punish innocent people . Completely useless.
Came along with my neice this morning. Had a cheery welcome on the door and spoke with a very helpful lady who is progressing her claim. Well done everyone, you were very courteous and helpful, thank you.
One of the ladies who works there was very polite, helpful and bubbly. I walked in there and expected the worst but because of this lady didn't get her name I walked out very pleased.

These guys are just not very nice... I was being as nice and friendly as I could. I was 17 and applying for help with college living, they where not nice about it.
Waited over an hour on the phone to be told to try somewhere else. Can't find the right department as keep getting past from one place to another. Utter useless.
What's the point in phoning this number. It has absolutely no answers and tells you to ring another number!!!!
