My apartment was a blank canvas but Jo brought it to life. She spent many hours with me understanding my preferences while also having lovely conversations. Her amazing colour coordination and design skills, the result exceeded my expectations and I can confidently say that I love how my home turned out to be a masterpiece.
We attended Jo's one day interior design course on Saturday and thought it was absolutely brilliant. She ascertained everyone's requirements for the course and talked to us about all aspects of colour, use of different types of lighting, the design and layout of rooms and helped us to prepare a "mood board" at the end. Jo was informative, knowledgeable and very experienced and was willing to share her ideas and suggestions with all five of us. She has a very warm, friendly and relaxed approach and even although I had never done any interior design or decorating, I didn't feel awkward or inadequate. It was one of the best courses I have ever attended and I will definitely use the skills I learnt on the course when I'm planning our new flat next year. Thank you to her and Chris for a great day.
Jo was able to break down the design process and explain the steps needed to create a well constructed design . My biggest worries where using colour and pattern however by applying some simple methods that Jo has tought me I know feel confident to start to apply them to my own work. Jo has a great way of explaining the process and was patient with all of us giuding the mixed ability group as a whole through the steps required. The coarse was engaging and inspiring and gave me some good tips to use in the way I go about putting a scheme together. Coming from a design background I did not feel patronised and was given the opportunity to expand on areas that I felt need more of my attention. I would toughly recommend this course to anyone interest in interiors wanting to focus and hone their skills.
We worked alongside Jo Hamilton for a very exciting project in Central London. It was an absolute pleasure to work with Jo and her team. Her enthusiasm for the job at hand, and the drive to achieve the best possible end results brought the best out of our workshop. We hope to be involved in more projects with JHI in the future.
We can't thank Jo and the team enough! We've had our expectations vastly exceeded, especially with the lighting, the quality of the furniture and the dedication Jo and her team showed. Jo was imaginative, insightful and very warm/friendly throughout the process. Thank you all again, from the whole family!
