My car was losing power under pressure...I knew from 2 previous occasions it was 1 of the coils. I just managed to get to the garage and no more having had to pull into the hard shoulder as my speed dropped to 10mph on the way. Waited all day for a phone call and ended up just dropping in. To be told there's nothing wrong with my cars engine. I was taken aback by the rude attitude in which I was spoken to and explained that that was impossible and that I was positive it was a faulty coil to be met with a grumpy well you show us which coil and we'll replace it. I had wasted a whole day and lost a days wages .putting my car to this garage. Never again. Totally unprofessional. The next day I drove to halfords. They found the problem in 10 minutes. A coil. Replaced it within half an hour. What a difference between a professional company and a shower of cowboys.
I've used JK tyres twice in recent months and both times they've been great. Good selection of tyre options and a quick turnaround time.
Went out of their way and managed to fit me in to change tyre due to a puncture. Really appreciated their service.Service: Tires
On the receipt, it stated the water pump had been replaced but it failed 40,000 miles later. After taking it to another mechanic, he said he doubts the water pump was ever changed. Cheers lads.
Genuine and reasonably priced. Would have given another star for early appointment, though their return was same day. Happy with overall service and repair. I was not sure of their solution when heard on phone, later surprised when I drove my car. Definitely and positively recommend...
Fantastic garage. Squeezed me In on an emergency repair. I was up here on my holiday and my rear spring snapped late afternoon. They got the parts in for the following morning. They even suggested getting a train to Edinburgh for the day while they have the car, so we did just that and had a lovely day on foot around Edinburgh with our French bulldog. Returned back by train in the afternoon and our car was all done for us. A nightmare breakdown, became a blessing in disguise, thank you JK you saved our holiday, sent us on a lovely journey and was also kind on the wallet!. 100% recommended
Since the local garage I used to go to closed down. I have used JK Tyres Stenhousemuir; replacing tyres, MOT/Annual car service and I've not been disappointed. The staff are friendly, helpful and professional. As a deaf customerI lipread, their customer service in my opinion is number 1! Definitely recommend 100%! P.s. a shout out for Bob who fixed my windscreen wipers at short notice! One wiper had got jammed under the bonnet and the other got stuck in middle of windscreen and I needed to have the car that same day. I hadn't booked, it was in the morning about 10am, but Bob just said no bother I'll get it sorted now....boom and it was done and dusted. Thanks a million Bob....you rock!!
Had an issue with the car whilst away from home leaving me unable to drive it. Dropped car off with them late afternoon and was ready for me by 10am next morning. First class service and very reasonable pricing. Would definitely use again.
My 18 year old Son, went to this garage yesterday with a Renault Clio. Turns out after having the car for over 3 hours he is told the brake lining has come off the brake shoe rear drum. He was told that to replace the shoes and wheel cylinders it would cost £416.00, after he phoned me I told him to, to tell the garage to leave the job as there was never £400 in this job ever!!!!. ATS did the very same job supplying parts and fitting for £120.00 bit of a difference. So my advice to anyone is check another garage before using this type of garage that rips people off. I will further contact trading standards and report this see what they say. Totally disgusted!!!!
