The menu is very limited but what is on it is well presented and cooked well.... Lacks any kind of wow factor flavour wise. Staff could be more helpful explaining what the dishes are like.

Our USA friend, my family and I stumbled upon this Bistro quite by accident, tucked down a little side street, behind the Abbey. It was a bit of a struggle to read the menus, even with glasses, due to the tad too subtle dim lighting. The food was lovely tasting and presented but sadly we were not expecting the smaller portions, we all had extra portions of chips to 'fill ourselves'. The ice cream choice was very limited...but the quality was wonderful.

My daughter and I visited Jesse's during a mid-week Christmas shopping trip when the bistro was very quiet. The menu is as I would want to see; limited and well-though out. (Too many options indicates it is likely frozen and microwaved). The cheese soufflé starter came with inspired little touches such as the caramelised walnuts in the side salad and the fish main course served with mash and broccoli was delicious. Very friendly service and atmosphere.

Excellent bistro. Fantastic food, superbly presented. Nice wines, very friendly, considerate service and staff. Lovely ambience and a relaxed space for a great evening out. Eaten here twice on both visits to Cirencester. Highly recommend.
