Jeroboams
"Running parallel to Brompton Road, along the border between Chelsea and Knightsbridge, Walton Street is a special location for Jeroboams and the local community. 56 Walton Street has been home to a wine merchant for decades, offering everything from the odd bottle, En Primeur and even selling casks of whisky at one point. Now home to Jeroboams, it is just a short walk from Knightsbridge tube station to this compact beautifully proportioned shop and the very special cellar underneath. From this cosy venue tucked under the pavement of Walton Street, a host of special tastings, dinners and events are run, featuring verticals of First Growth Chateau, intimate producer tastings and dinner prepared by an in-house chef."

Amazing location South Kensington branch went for a wine tasting experience and the wine cellar which was located below the ground floor shop was amazing. The class was really good interactive and informative. Lead by a great wine enthusiast. Would highly recommend this place and wines were tasted and offered were at a really good affordable price
I went for wine tasting for my boyfriend's birthday and had the best time! This was my first tasting and was made to feel comfortable by host and rest of the group. Intimate group 6 of us. 5 selections of wine, 2white and 3red. Knowledgeable staff and delicious wine selection
Really insightful, fun and relaxed wine tasting experience. Great selections of wine and very helpful staff who are happy to have a chat. Fully recommended if you want to buy wine, taste wine, or to learn about wine; which if you're not interested in any of those, then I'm not sure why you're reading this.
We came here on Friday evening for wine tasting and absolutely enjoyed ourselves! It was small group of 10 of us in their little cute cellar seminar room which was lovely decorated. I even loved the bottle opener signes on ladies and gents toilets. And our “teacher and somelier” of the night was Sonia who was absolutely brilliant!!! The shop had loads wine to chose from and we will definitely come back!
Had a wine tasting. Was good but not amazing. I was expecting more explanations around techniques and grape types. Cheese and meat platters were good. Table was packed with people so they maximize profit.
We booked a wine tasting session which was fantastic. Had a lovely selection of wines to sample and learnt about the processes behind the making of them. Very relaxed environment and would highly recommend.
Wine tasting was very average: cheap bottles. We only had 3 glasses and after those were used, no one changed our glasses and the lady was okay pouring wine to the used ones, mixing white and red wines. There were nibbles to accompany the tasting which was positive aspect. Not a single bottle appealed to us during tasting.
Great little independent wine shop. Knowledgeable staff and some serious kit inside!
I went with my son on a wine tasting yesterday evening, 9th July. It was a brilliant experience. Frederico really does know his stuff. What a great way to spend an evening. Very good experience, I can highly recommend. I will definitely be returning to this particular Jeroboams, and will buy the experience as a birthday gift for various friends. Thank you
This is a very friendly local and cosy wine shop with staff happy to help you out and advise you. The wine selection is well varied and caters for all budge from basic to fine wines. They also have a few whiskies.
