OMG!!! What a place! Me and my friend tried to go there many times but it was always close as have been there around 1pm and they just open at 5pm Then our lucky day came  Brilliant customer service from the start. As place was still closed we ask owner/ manager? if we could sit in there terrace as was beautiful sunny day. They kindly let us, but also they served us a drinks and brought the speaker that we could listen our music. They we are asked about food, kitchen wasn’t ready as they open at 5pm and it was only around 3.30pm. What a nice surprise when I’m half an hour we’ve been told we can order the food. I must say that medallions of fillet was made to perfection and I didn’t have that perfectly done steak for very long time. Well done to chef!!! Also big thank you to Pedro who was serving us, he was just brilliant! Definitely perfect place to go and we would go there again.

First time I've had proper cheesecake in 5 years since I've moved here! Forgot to take a pic     The food is great! Comparable to FX Buckley, but more affordable. Service could be more attentive. I got through my ice cubes before we could get a server's attention.

Five stars all the way! We came here for the first time, for our anniversary dinner and we could not have been more pleased. We got the ribs and wings as starters, rib eye and tomahawk with potatoes, salad, onion rings and cheesecake and crème brûlée for dessert. The onion rings were crispy and cooked to perfection and the steaks reminded us of a Parisian bistro. Everything was delicious, the weather was beautiful, the waiter was charming and friendly. We cannot wait to go back.

I have pretty high standards when it comes to steak and I have to say I was very impressed. Good value.

I give this restaurant five stars not because its the best steak that I've ever had, or the best service. However, considering the price, it was very good value. The gratin potatoes were perfectly cooked as was the steak. It was tender, flavoursome and juicy. the most important component for a steakhouse.  The size of the steak was as stipulated on the menu. There was only one side dish on offer inclusive within the price, a policy which I though was a bit stingy. But then when I considered the price I thought that the steak quality and size is right, that's what you're paying for. If you want more side dishes then pay for them.  The menu was unimaginative. And I mention this in a very positive way. Its safe, unpretentious, very predictable, Pate, fish cake etc. All of the items that we ordered exceeded expectations. All except the apple pie. That was stodgy, gluey pastry, the apple kept white with ascorbic or citric acid. Bought-in despite being listed as homemade. I wouldn't shoot this down too much necessarily. This restaurant definitely caters for a conservative palate, perhaps this apple pie fits in with that.  Service was very good, friendly, no mistakes. Wine-by-the-glass a bit pricey. I realise they have to make money.  We will definitely go back

Steak was a bit over done for medium rare but it was still very tender and flavourful ribeye. One of the best steaks I've had so far in Dublin! Also if you happen to have the chance, checkout their cool ceiling.Food: 4/5

We had starters, mains & desserts  Starters and Mains were excellent  Desserts were a big let down compared to the starters and Mains. Which was a real disappoint as it was the last dish of the night and everything else had gone so well.  We had 3 different desserts creme brulee, brownie, raspberry meringue.  They all tasted like they weren't made in the kitchen brownie was bitter not sweet, brulee was cold, meringue tasted weird.  Our personal advice is to go to JDs for the starters and Mains and skip dessert it will leave you with a bad ending to your evening.

Always a pleasure, it's been a family favourite for over 15 years. The food is great, the kids love it and the staff are friendly and welcoming.  Couldn't ask for a better local go-to!

We had stakes, lamb and cod so really fresh and delicious. Early bird menu is great value. Would have been nice with more than 1 potatoe worth of chunky chips and maybe a side of coleslaw, salad etc. Creme brulee topping wasn't properly caramelized, with unburnt sugar remaining.Food: 4/5
