I live around the corner and I visit Fortes regularly. normally I place my order for collection through the app to avoid the late crowd. I was very disappointed on my last visit no just by the small portion of chips as shown in the picture but also by the lad that was on the till. the lad did not seeing like he wanted to be there working and he had a bit of an attitude. I know he is new and that just make worse. I work as a manager for a restaurant and I understand that customer can be rude or maybe he was not having a good night, but there were only two customer and they seem alright. inflation isn't doing any good to anybody but chips are the cheapest item on any menu and I really hope the size portions haven't been change.
Came here at 6pm on a Friday night and got one of the best pizzas I've ever had! They put a garlic and olive oil drizzle one the pizza once it comes out of the oven and it makes it SO delish!!
Worst kabab ever not one bit of lettace meat so dry and a half bag of chips and driver ringing before he gets here.
I stopped in after work and got charged 15 euro for a meal that was advertised as 11euro aswell as being charged for sauce that was supposed to come with it. When I expressed my concern I was greeted with a lady shouting across the chipper at me and her colleague. I will never be returning, it was the worst customer service I have ever witnessed and completely unnecessary. It left myself as a young girl quite upset and the other customers shocked.
Nice place. Friendly staff. Didn't know what a queue is, and there only three of us waiting to order. Got a pizza, they put to much dried basil in sauce. Never got a can of Fanta orange which was ordered. Vegetarian options: Not many vegiterian options, chips not great. Kid-friendliness: Very friendly staff. Parking: No parking available, it's on a main road, Wheelchair accessibility: No wheelchair access, and the person with me uses a wheelchair.
really good milkshakes and food but close earlier than the time says closing 2:30 and they start closing around 1:50 which they are opened on just eat and google 40 mins later than they closed
Every place can have a bad day but the chips where absolutely disgraceful, they were old, dark and cold. Very shabby and dirty surroundings.
I have a bittersweet review about this place. I used to buy garlic cheesy chips in here a lot of employees already know my order and, even it was around 1 euro more expensive than the rest of the places, I really enjoyed them. Today I went and when I was going to pay the surprise was that now they even 1 euro more 6'50€ FOR FEW FROZEN CHIPS WITH GARLIC SAUCE AND CHEESE. With that money you can even buy a tasty pizza in some takeaways nearby. Then I was going to eat them and one chip was green. It is sad but they got insane with the price of the chips and was the only thing I ordered. Need to say that It was so nice before and the tan young girl was lovely and always received you with a smile on her face.

Worst customer service I’ve ever witnessed by far. I ordered something that was listed as 11.25 on the menu and was charged 14, when i asked for my money back the employees argued with me saying it was an old price and that they hadn’t changed it on the menu yet, this is not legal and after having been working all day the last thing i wanted was to get into an argument, and although i got my money in the end the customer service was so bad that I would never consider going back
