Made kids wear blazers in 30 degree weather and suggested it’s just their policy, unbelievable. Teachers where standing in summer attire like shirts and dresses while kids where dressed for winter, remarkably illogical. Jcoss hands out detentions for things as stupid as walking the ‘wrong way’ down the corridor or accidentally forgetting to tuck in a shirt. Even arriving 1 minute late due to a previous class being let out slightly after the bell or having to journey from the other side of the school can leave you without a lunch break. The kindest most well behaved kids regularly find themselves in detention creating a very strange prison like environment, not the ‘mensch’ ethos they promote.
Overall, a solid school. Some teachers seem like they belong teaching in university rather than at a secondary school given how high quality their teaching is, but I'm certainly not complaining. Obviously it's not perfect, being forced to wear blazers with rest of uniform or full length trousers for sixth formers, no shorts during 30°C+ in summer weather is not ideal, and the school should really make an effort to allowing students to suggest changes easier, but it's a solid location and I'm happy I ended up here.
It's ok, the kids there sometimes bully people and the food is a scam. Avg school but the amount of snitching is insane
Level of education is very poornSince covid the headteacher Mr Moriarty didn’t seem to care. And the new headteacher is no different.nTeachers don’t really want to do their job , they put everything online and can’t even be bothered to meet parents face to face on parents evening.nA lot of substitute teachers
Excellent School!!! Magnificent state of the art newly built school beautifully designed,well organised and equipped with updated modern facilities and equipment.nnPlaying field with large size football pitches.nnLarge acres of space aurrounding school with lots of surrounding greenery for peacefull and tranquil feel while studdying.nnFull security with cameras check points and on site security staff.nnSeperate enterances for visitors staff and students.nnThe school has a mixed and well balanced syllabus.nnThe staff are nice n friendly especially Yaniv the head of IT department.Very skilled, proficient and professional individual who deals with all the tech n IT related issues and allround nice individual with great character and personality.nnSarah and Dario from the IT department were also very welcomming, caring and supportive .nnOh yeah and Donald in charge of Maintenance really funny guy. Will keep u entertained. You should go there just to see that wonder lol.nnOverall a nice,plesant and professionally managed school.nnLoved experience whilst visiting.nnThanx for taking me on and giving me the opportunity to work at your grear school. JCoSS!nEnjoyed my time !nnAfzal Islam
