Came back 5 years later and still the same : So good. You can have a breakfast, a meal or just a drink and headed to the beach straight after. Really nice place with really nice people. Can't wait to come back xx with love from France.
We stopped for late breakfast on Sunday. Quick service, excellent eggs benedict for 2. Coffees and cider. Superb location, couldn't fault the place
Fantastic place!! Cycled over from Poole for lunch before going for a swim and wasn’t disappointed. Lovely interior with jazz related signs and nicknacks all over the walls, comfy seats and a real chilled out feel to the place. I had the Fish finger Chiabatta and it was amazing!! Wine was slightly expensive at over £10 a glass so one star off for that.
The floor is filthy and the tables are not cleaned between customers. Their idea of eggs royal are hard boiled eggs on a dry muffin. Just look at the state of this plate I had to ask for refund, they send the money on a plate even though I’ve paid card. No apologise or anything. This place is an absolutely joke!
We have been coming to Jazz cafe for years but the place decor etc has improved! But the food has really changed why will they not toast a bacon sandwich or do and bespoke breakfast when you ask you are told the chef won’t allow it! The prices have increased a lot since before Covid but I don’t think the food justify the prices when it really use to! But on the plus the coffee is lovely and the special Hot Chocolate is very good!
One of the few cafes open on a very cold and sunny day and very welcome after a walk along the sea front. The time of our visit was late morning and there were few cakes on offer. But it was a chance to get warm with a hot cup of coffee. It was quite busy but pleasant none the less.Food: 4/5
Popped in today after a wonderful weekend in Bournemouth. Happy to stumble across this cafe. Decor is fab with a grand piano, double bass, various musical artifacts. Food was delicious and they definitely didn't scrimp on portion sizes. Food was hot, prompt and served with a smile, perfect !
The Friday night series is an absolute joy. Can’t think of anywhere else in this part of the country where you can get the real jazz club experience. The food is nothing special but we didn’t go for the food. We will be back, please don’t stop doing these brilliant evenings !
Having been here a few times on a bike ride stop, I had never really taken in the interior of the cafe. It's very cosy and today at 9am on a drizzly morning it was lovely with a roaring fire. Coffee was good too!Service: 5/5
Almost a great place! A fabulous location and love the interior decor. However … food average, floor dirty, toilets disgusting and tables not cleaned between customers. This was Monday brunch so it wasn’t even that busy. A shame!
