Great view of the coast and out to sea. Lovely building, with most tables beside the windows. Outside deck area for warm weather. New staff who are welcoming and friendly. Standard English cafe fare. Veggie breakfast was tasty.
Very poor. Ordered a 1/4 pounder burger only to be told after 10 minutes that they had no burger baps. They must have known they didn't have any when I ordered. Also it would not have been hard for them to walk 500 meters to Deal High Street to by some. Ordered a steak baguette instead, very chewy and loads of fat. Will not be visiting again
This is a great spot for a beer or a hot chocolate out over the water looking back to Deal seafront, just be sure to eat somewhere else before hand. To be fair, if you are hungry get cheese on toast or a slice of cake but don't get any more adventurous. The chips weren't quite cooked, the pie was from the freezer and I now know what peas look like when microwaved for 10 minutes.
Visited today on a very blowy and rainy Deal pier, was welcomed by a warm and well presented restaurant with a good selection of food. Had an English breakfast and tea, reasonably priced and the food was hot and tasty. Decent portion sizes and the staff were friendly and attentive. Would recommend Jasins if your visiting Deal.
Fish and Chips with Men of Kent yesterday evening - long delay in service, fish and chips awful - the batter was soft and slimy, fish barely cooked and tasteless chips, minimal serving of mushy peas. Staff were pleasant and wine was ok - this is not the first time this has happened. Venue has amazing views and is ok for a cup of tea as long as the cup isn't chipped but don't recommend the food.
Lovely oasis after battling the windy pier! Delicious food.... have eaten several times at Jasin's and every meal was delicious. The kids will run the pier for a hot chocolate with all the toppings at Jasin's. Almost forgot to say .... Great views!.
Nice place for a hot chocolate or a cold beer, excellent view on the seafront. Would have a sandwich or a snack anytime however not exactly the place for a proper meal. Loads of potential though, will check again next summer :
Just had a meal at this restaurant and we were very disappointed with the food. We had two of their specials baked mackerel which was tasteless, a salad that had seen better days and limp sweet potato chips. No cutlery we found our own , no vinegar or dressing and not cheap. Will not return or recommend.
Waiting 20 minutes for a salad and haddock and chips. When it came out the chips were cold and had obviously been cooked way before the fish. Nice location for drinks but avoid the food.
nice location being as it is on the end of the Pier. The kids that run it try there best but no manager to be seen on a Sunday morning. I could make so much money running this place but instead they leave customers waiting for nearly an hour. We wanted four breakfasts but had to pay 0.40 pence PER EGG!! Extra to have them poached. Our coffee ....I asked how many shots of espresso in a standard cup one I asked how many in a large one I asked for a double shout in all coffees which we got but in regular cups !!!! Aftery nearly an hour Sitting with empty coffee for most of that we cmained. They basically said ....sorry but it's tough. The place wasn't very busy. It's not the kids that work theirs fault and the food when it finally arrived was ok. But whoever runs this place is clueless. Let me have it. I left leaving a tenner for two of the above pictures ...think I overpaid but I certainly wasn't gonna pay what they wanted for an experience akin to begging outside a McDonalds
