Not posing as my company but personally, unfortunately I didn't realised my gmail account was linked:- Really disappointed with this vet. Have used them about 8 years ago for my rabbit and wasn't impressed but as it's convenient thought we would try again as so long has passed. Our dog had an operation on his ear, when I collected him they gave me no aftercare info and were more interested in how much the bill was. I got home and saw he had buttons on his ear which were not mention so had to call to understand what they were. We have just been back for a check up and we're charged for the aftercare consultation of which we were in there for no more than 2 minutes to have the wound checked. Will need to return again to have the stitches removed which I have been told is also chargeable. I have never been to a vets before where all the aftercare is also charged. Also they automatically billed us for a cone and food without even asking if I already had either. I will never be using again. All they seem interested in is getting the most money out of you, especially if you are considering to claim on insurance. Really not happy with the service.

Never recommends treatments that are not necessary in his opinion my dog had a lump he said leave it and it will go away and it did.

The service provided at Jamie Winstones veterinary practice recently was nothing short of excellent, 5 stars is not enough. Our girl was seen by both vets at the practise who discussed in detail the treatment and surgery required, whilst our girl was given lots of love and attention by the nurses. My dog had developed a sudden very severe eye problem and we had been advised by an eye specialist veterinary center the costs would be 4 figures to operate and treat. I was shocked when I was given the estimate at this practise which was over 8 times cheaper than what I had been quoted elsewhere. I'm happy to say that 3 weeks after the consultation, surgery and lots of love and care from the nurses our girl can see again and her eyes are now in perfect health. This is not the first time we have used the practice although only found this google review page by chance after losing my phone and searching for the phone number, but felt instantly that I should leave this review. In my opinion and after trying many vets over the past 20 years in different locations throughout the UK, I have found this practise to be friendly, caring,expertly knowledgeable and very reasonably priced and by far the best local practise veterinary center I have ever come across.
