I prayed salatul Jummah of l love the whole atmosphere. mosque is neat and clean . musk , safety lotion was available. I heard the mosque committee do food bank which is very good for local community. Imama gave Friday sermon in Urdu as usual . probably because of most of the musollis 1st language is Urdu. my respect and duas for the volunteers and active committee.
Ma Sha Allah, beautifully designed masjid, with large downstairs hall with a big library.
Not visited yet, they do a food bank where you can actually pick the food out that you want to eat and not what the ppl there want you to eat, you can pick 5 different food items 5 days a week, none of this only going on a Saturday you’ll find at most food banks they give you what they think you’ll eat,most of it used by date got one day left on it, this can make ppl very poorly I went to the one in Halifax and had to take it back as it was what they thought it would be an emergence bag of food, it would of killed me if I ate anything like that,! So yes when I’m back on my feet I’ll go to this mosque and food back!!
Local events take place every so often. Open to all the community. The locals are welcome to come and talk to the imams as we are trilingual Arabic English Urdu
First time vistited, v clean, good atmosphere, big mosque with plenty parking space, v nice outlook, love to go again
Ordinarily I'd give them 5*s. They are open att, do GREAT work for the community with their food banks etc. But it is not always 100% open to women to casually come in for salah etc. Which is the only reason why I give them a 4* Ave not 5
The first Mosque I went to when I started practising. Like Rhodes Street beautiful house of Allah but not housed in the correct way I.e innovative practices. I pray Allah purifies all His House's. Ameen.
Very nice and clean mosque. Jummah prayer was full and well organised making sure all spaces were taken up. Had good airflow, assumed air conditioner on a reasonably warm day so was comfortable during prayers. Plenty of chairs for those who require them. Didn’t require it but plenty of parking around the area but does get busy obviously during Friday.
they community is very helpful i know quite a few members of this myself
Peaceful place. Good service, specially the food bank service for less fortunate people. Every mosques should follow the work is being done at this mosque.
