Leeds Grand Mosque was established in 1995 and is situated near Hyde Park. With it's close proximity to the University, it has a very diverse and multicultural community and a very warm and friendly atmosphere.

The mosque capacity is approximately 1000 with dedicated facilities for ladies.

Alhamdolillah thisbis a great masjid with a strong community you can feel it from the warm welcoming staff ath the sister entrance. Clean and good services available. I joined the khutba of jumuaa , first part in arabic Alhamdolillah and thebenglish version not short one but still a full khutba . Alhamdolillah this is a good masjid.

I prayed Jumaa here and it was an amazing experience, the Imam spoke the khutbah in English which really helped as I don't understand Arabic. Overall very good!

Theres no such thing as a bad review for LGM. Its a great place, and is particularly friendly towards women and children and offers good facilities. many mosques unfortunately forget about the women , but at LGM they have taken good care of everyone
Everything is good, but the imam takes a lot of time to pray, especially Friday prayers
Fantastic mosque, very well managed and maintained. Visited today with family of young kids. Also have women prayer area. Mosque have a lively and welcoming environment. Imam delivered the khutbah in Arabic and English which was very helpful. Plenty of parking on side roads.
The best mosque in the UK. A beautiful community and congregation, a very caring Imam with a soothing, emotional and melodious recitation, a very caring management team, activities throughout the week... What more can you ask for from a Masjid? May Allah reward everyone involved in the upkeep and management of this mosque.
