The blood test was soooo smooth and it didn’t hurt at all. The nurse that did the blood test for me was an Asian lady and she was definitely of top level - gentle, professional and very very kind. I booked the wrong date and she booked me in for today instead of driving me away. The other nurse was also very lovely. Even the patients here were so nice, I was helped by 2 patients when I was a bit lost of the way to the room and the check-in process.
This place is so trash in every aspect. 5/6 years ago it used to be okay but has gone down hill. I have complained to management and they do not seem to care or make any changes. Why do the admin staff have so much attitude? I just want an appointment. This place just needs to close down because it’s a waste of public money paying the bills in this place. I have not just had 1 or 2 bad experiences. It’s a bad experience every single time for years now. Expect very long queues and waiting times, expect rude staff though doctors are usually pleasant. Would give 0 stars if possible. Most recently I asked for a medical form for a condition I have and the admin staff proceeded to tell me why I am wrong about my condition wrongly as if they are a health expert, all whilst being being very rude.
I have had a very positive experience over two consultations with Mr Richard Mitchell. He was very methodical in his approach to identifying the issues and in the following treatments. He was very attentive, listened to my concerns and was very reassuring.
Good luck booking any appointments if you're an elderly. They hold you up on the phone for an hour just to tell you to book an appointment online. Those who struggle with IT literacy will never get an appointment. The GP has gone down the gutter past 2-3 years
Going from bad to worse. They don't have the decency to even call. They leave you waiting for days and just text. What are we paying taxes for?. Also had blood tests done and they LOST them. I have to get a new appointment for that people that work have tot are time off thanks to their blood tests hours!!! Today I have been gping around in circles since 8:30 am to get someone to have the decency to actually assess me?? Got a text message for a pharmacist referral who could not help. I called back they "cannot guarantee I will get a call back today"..... I will stop paying taxes for this
Been a patient here for over 5years. It was a wonderful surgery. Since the pandemic it gets worse with every call. Appointments are impossible to get. Doctors don't listen and call handlers don't take notes or make record of calls. No wonder A&Es are overflowing because surgery's like this have become so inefficient. There is an Asian lady that does the bloods who is amazing and my needle phobia is the only thing that's kept me here but it's definitely time to start looking for a new doctors.
Dr Levy provided an excellent service when my daughter was sick. He took her symptoms seriously and calmly talked through them all with me. He even called back later in the day to check she was okay. He made a stressful situation much easier.
I am so grateful to the staff at this practice, who went far beyond anything I could have hoped for. While trying to sort admin abroad, not only did the practice initially give me all the paperwork that was required, when the place I was submitting them to questioned it and required additional steps that shouldn't have necessarily been required I called the practice at very short notice to see if something could have been done. Although it should not have been possible and anywhere else would have understandably simply told me it wasn't possible, the staff here went above and beyond to get it sorted for me. They were empathetic and compassionate, and Ishtiak Ahmed was truly incredible. I was called back quickly, twice !. Although it would have been an excellent service regardless of outcome from the lovely tone and kindness on the phone, Ishtiak was also able to get my issue resolved for me, demonstrative of the genuine care in the practice. Truly have no words for what a wonderful team this practice has, and thank you Ishtiak and the GP for the experience.
Great experience, everything was speedy and organised. I got a call a couple days later from the doctor doing a follow up check. Not used to this kind of diligence in healthcare. E consult form worked fine, just gotta be up early enough to fill it out and you’ll get a callback.
So utterly disappointed with this practice. It’s impossible to get an appointment. I moved to the area and for very long time I was skeptical about changing my GP practice - Lavender Hill Group Practice as they are amazing. I never experienced any problems. However because of the distance and other borough related factors I had to change my GP. I looked up all the GPs around and found this one has good reviews so I signed up. It was huge mistake. I suffer from some health issues which makes things difficult for me. I need to get some assessments done but everytime I call them they say “our appointments are full. Call again tomorrow between 8am and 10am” which doesn’t work for me. I never experienced this ridiculous system before. As a result I’ve gone months without appointments. I send them emails but till date no replies. I sent them a letter from my chiropractor, no replies. After several attempts they finally send me a text to call them and book an appointment and whenever I call they ask me to call next day. They say try our econsultancy online but there as well I get a message try again tomorrow. I left urine sample which they lost. I gave blood test and even after more than a month I don’t have results. I needed to extend sick leave and asked for an appointment but till date no response. I call them and even visit the practice to discuss this but no one cares. They just don’t care! I am beyond frustrated. Honestly this is the worst ever experience I’ve had with a practice. They want people to chase them again and again when people are already suffering from health issues. It’s disgusting and cruel. I’ve even made a complaint but till date no one bothered to get back to me after a month.
