My and my son travelled here to purchase some bibles, hearing that Lewes was one of the most Christian and pleasant places in Sussex, yet were absolutely disgusted to find such a purveyor of filth nestled in the heart of this beautiful town. As you can see from the picture, the shop is literally a gutter. The man, "Jake", is roughly the size of a common red crab, and lives in the eastern end of the pipe. My son asked for directions, not knowing that this gutter was in fact a house of Satan. The torrent of abuse from the owner, followed by a hail of second-hand undergarments, was enough to make me sick. Suffice it to say, I'm never coming back to Lewes, and I'm never ever going anywhere near Jake Industries again. Good day sir.
