I give this 3 stars because I have mixed feelings. Food was obviously fresh, wait time was minimal, but everything I ordered was pretty much the same dish with the same gelatinous sauce. I specifically ordered off of 3 different genres of food to avoid this potential problem: Kung Po Char Siu, King Prawn with Mushroom , Beef Chow Mein - noodles covered with the white gelatinous sauce, even the Mixed Vegetable in Black Bean Sauce - not a true black bean sauce and once again with pretty much the same gelatinous sauce. It was disappointing really because a lot of the fault lies with the recipes themselves and not with the food quality or the chefs. This experience could have been wonderful, but I spent over €50 for 4 dishes that were really the same - other than the protein. As I've tried four 'different' things, I wouldn't try any others as I'm pretty sure they would have the same consistency. My opinion is one of many and I'm sure others wouldn't mind. But for any true connoisseurs of fabulous Chinese Takeaway - this misses the mark.
Waiting time is a bit to long for fast food restaurant. Other then that it’s a great Chinese take-away.
Delivery way too long,was waiting an hour and 20 minutes,food arrived stone cold,they also forgot the drinks,not even an apology
I ordered from here at the weekend. Jade House is located in Waterford, Ireland. It was pretty standard, good food although I've had better. Still, I have no real complaints. Overall, though I did not love this place I would still recommend it to any Chinese food lover.
Food is lovely, consistently so.... Was put off initially by the frozen chips..... Not any more..... The food is actually that nice....great veg selection and the meat is good quality look forward to ordering from here!
Placed an order at 18.11 which then told me it would arrive in 50 minutes. After an hour had elapsed, I rang the restaurant to check where my order was to which I was told that the driver had left 5 minutes before I called. 30 minutes after I called, the driver arrived with my order and admitted he had only left the shop prior to dropping off my food. Horrendous customer service also considering they increased prices over the past few weeks.
Best Asian takeaway in Waterford. Speedy delivery, delicious food and extra requirements catered for.

Absolutely wonderful breast of chicken curry...loads of veg. To inc. waterchestnuts, sugarsnap peas, brocolli, mushrooms, peas u name it. Carrots were shredded, lovely bean sprouts also...my first time! Definitely return and highly recommend. Just to note avoid JUMBO CHINESE.. I had to return.. was all but salt water with totally raw veg and raw chicken!!!!!!!
Very nice meal would recommend jade house.
