I did balayage with Jack. I absolutely disappointed with the results: I got yellow hair and balayage technic was very specific, so I didn’t get a mix with my natural hair and white hair, as I believe is traditional balayage. I got yellow coloured hair with natural colour on the roots, no mixture. And I paid for this 100£! Hair cutting and drying were Ok, so that 2 stars. For balayage 0 starts.Service: Balayage

After two years of growing my hair the day came to finally cut it, for which I chose Jacks Salon. Every staff member was personable, funny and very friendly to an anxious client. My stylist, Emily, did an absolutely fantastic job and I left extremely pleased with my new haircut. Jack was very helpful upon greeting, and their young apprentice made me feel like princess during washing. 10/10 would recommend to a friend, cracking place with an amazing atmosphere and staff.
Written by Ann Riding I’m so pleased my friend recommended I go to Jack. I’ve been 5 times now, and I can honestly say they're the best haircuts I’ve ever had. I’ve got thick wavy hair and I like it shoulder length, and so often I’ve come out from a haircut thinking “Oh no, they’ve cut it way too short”, or “Those layers look like thick wedges”. But with Jack, my hair looks so much better, it’s a lovely shape that suits my face. He really listens when you describe what you want and really concentrates when he’s doing the cutting. Great haircut every time. Highly recommended.
Just spent a couple of hours with Jack - he really knows his stuff. I wasn't sure what I wanted, so I left it in his hands and he really worked his magic, adding some gorgeous contouring highlights around my face to compliment the shape of my face and also cut and styled it beautifully. This was my second time having my hair done by Jack, each time I have gone home so pleased with the result. My last haircut grew out so nicely, so I wanted to see him again once I needed a trim to ensure a similar style, and he did that and more. The salon is really calming and relaxing, and you just generally feel quite pampered. Go see Jack - I promise, you won't be disappointed.
What a lovely salon! Jack and his staff are so welcoming and friendly; Jack really knows about hair and how best to treat, manage and cut it. He is very personable and professional. The salon itself has a great atmosphere and I will definitely be going back. Thank you.
