We chose J. Brown Funeral Services to help us organise my dad’s cremation service as they came recommended by a friend, were local, and had parking outside which made things easier for my mum. It was the first time I’d had to engage a funeral director and I was anxious about how it would feel to plan something so emotional and difficult with strangers. But Jason and his team treated us with kindness and gentleness. They talked us through everything calmly, and helped us to make emotional decisions over a kindly offered cup of tea. There was no ‘upselling’ to try to make more money out of us. On the day of my father’s cremation, we were blown away by the respect and honour shown to my dad. The team turned up at our house exactly when they said they would, the hearse and suits they were wearing were immaculate, and his staff were polite and highly respectful. When Jason walked in front of the hearse through the village, then doffed his hat and bowed to my dad’s coffin before he got in the car, it moved us to tears. It was such a beautiful, honouring act. At the crematorium Jason and his team were helpful and discreet and stayed until the very end to say goodbye to us. We would recommend J.Brown Funeral Services wholeheartedly. The process was simple and respectful, and everything went according to plan. Better than we had expected, in fact.
This was the second time using Jason’s services. On both occasions the service and attendance to detail, before, during and after the ceremony was exemplary. If you want that special perfect undertaker look no further. Many thanks Jason to you and your staff
Thank you so much to Jason and his team for their sensitive and empathetic manner during such a difficult time. Jason was so respectful when arriving at the house and handled everything so quietly and discretely. Jason was so quick to help answer any questions and was immediately available when making final arrangements. Jason discussed everything clearly and we were confident leaving all the final details in his hands. As a family, we are so grateful for their caring service and would happily recommended them to others.
Superb services from both Jason and Sam. They were so thoughtful and compassionate, it made the whole process less stressful for us. We compared many services around the area and were very happy with the prices and quality of their care. We cannot recommend them enough!
J. Brown funeral directors, a independent funeral services who i could not fault from start to finish. Booking a time to visit Sam at the office, explaining exactly what the family wished for and nothing was too much trouble. The arrangements on the day of the funeral were stop on. I made the decision initially based Jason's photograph as he appeared and was! honest and very kind. The simplicity and clarity of Jason's website and very reasonable fee structure also means you won't have to worry or be overly burdened with complexity at such a critical time. I can't recommend Jason and his team highly enough. You will find their kindness, professionalism and sensitivity of great value whilst you are dealing with the loss of a loved one.
This was my first time arranging a funeral and Jason made the entire process from end to end seamless with kindness and consideration. We shopped around before deciding on Jason's services and so glad we did. Every piece of detail was taken care of perfectly. A superb local business who I cannot recommend highly enough.
Highly recommend, extremely professional and knowledgeable but also kind and courteous - we didn’t feel rushed to make decisions at all and had everything explained fully along the way. Jason makes an extremely upsetting situation seem just that little bit more bearable. Thank you.
