My Nan loves the smoked Roe here, the staff are very friendly and she’s been going here for years recently having to move out the area we travelled from Birmingham so she could stock up! Always greeted with helpfulness - highly recommend for your fresh fish needs - thank you!

Bought a piece of tuna for dinner last night and it was ****ing brilliant. Great fish. Great people. Fair prices. And their fish balls and smoked salmon are excellent too!
We've been shopping here for more than 40 years; not only is it a great shop to visit and chat with all the friendly staff, the quality of the fish is excellent; they give good advice and take care to give you the amount you ask for. In terms of quality and freshness they beat hands-down the fish-counters at all the supermarkets - as you would expect from a local, long-standing, family-run, specialist shop. By the way - AND THIS APPLIES TO ALL LOCAL SPECIALIST SHOPS - if we don't support our local shops even the ones who may not be as good as Corneys, they'll go out of business and we'll be stuck with food that's travelled hundreds of miles before it gets to an S-Market counter, where it will doubtless be handled by staff who don't have a clue. We reckon we are very lucky to have Corneys as a local fishmonger to buy from; our friends in the country are green with envy.
Always a fresh range of fish kosher species only. Very friendly staff, eager to please. Reasonable prices. Highly recommended.

I’ve been shopping here for years: the staff are always really friendly, knowledgeable about their fish. A good range of wet fish, lots of different smoked fish, and various cooked fish fish balls, goujons, etc — and it all tastes great!
