Went here with a Gourmet society card..can confirm the other reviewer's experience: lovely staff, great food! The prices are very reasonable even without the Gourmet card, and house wine was lovely. Free parking across the road.
Great food, lovely staff, nice place to be. My favourite restaurant in the area!
Ok restaurant. Good selection available, childrens men was good. Had a Steak which in all honesty wasnt the best. It didnt look the best on the plate and didnt take as though it had been freshly grilled Wife had Carbonara, which she said was good. Dessert was good, fresh made chocolate cheesecake I would go again just for this All in all an OK meal, would return, but would order a pasta or pizza as they looked far better. Thanks

So! Saturday evening. No bread! Not delivered Really on a Saturday night you couldn't get fresh bread No beer on tap, only bottled! Gas has gone ..... Right! Can't pay by card. Cash only . Only two of seven deserts available I really wanted to like this place but there is nothing to want me to go back It lacks atmosphere It lacks warmth The staff had no interest . Not once did they ask if everything was OK. The last time I came here was 5 years ago when it was owned by someone else It's not moved on.

Phoned to book a table & told the resturant we had Meerkat 241.When we arrived & were ready to order we were told that we Had to order 2 courses to use our Meerkat code. We asked why & were told that was their policy. No one said anything when we booked...... Won't be going back there....... Child's food was awful & expensive....main courses were good but profiteroles were not very nice......2 lumps of chocolate on a plate with a bit of sqirty cream .......not proper ones
Been coming here since march - the food has always been outstanding - the service has been friendly, attentive and they have catered for all our needs - sometimes as a family sometimes as a couple - I would highly recommend you give it a go it you won't be disappointed
