"Italian Connection is a family run restaurant, founded on 38 Parliament St in 1990. Established by the Cardillo family originally from the town of Cervaro, Frosinone in Southern Italy. Carlo Cardillo relocated to Ireland in 1974, and has sought to connect with the fare of his homeland by sharing it to others. Meeting Berna Cardillo in 1984, they began their own family and together created this space.Serving classic hearty dishes to be enjoyed with family & friends, we welcome you to step inside and enjoy our hospitality as if entering our home. Food was awesome, wine list is inexpensive but good wines and the owner/manager is great. Please note, this is primarily a beer and wine establishment...not mixed drinks despite their alcohol list. Would definitely recommend.Food: 5/5

Most amazing Italian restaurant I have been to in a long time. Food is fantastic best lasagne I have ever had Staff & service second to none. Staff so friendly & helpful. Food is lovely and serves large portions. I like decor and atmosphere but unfortunately service is not so great. Personnel is nice but we were served by 3 different people and in the end we asked for split bill but lady just divided it in half without asking. And we weren't an even number on the table. So that was disappointing. But definitely worth to try because food was delicious and I loved my vegan pizza Vegetarian options: Great vegan pizza
Quantities were average to small, pizza was good in general, dishes and appetizers were good in taste and texture but also of limited qty. Limited choice of main dishes beyond pizza and pasta. Very limited to poor wine list and a kitchen who closes very early 22:00 even for Irish standards!.... Vegetarian options: They have a vegan pizza Napolitana

We came here for a celebration meal on Saturday! The staff were exceptional, they were so accommodating and the service was so fast! We had our son with us 2 year old so the fast service was amazing! The food was excellent, we had a variety of pizza and pasta and even salads and everything was perfect! Best Chicken Caesar Salad around!
