Went here for a mid week lunch. The menu is nice and simple, I went for the chicken shawarma, chips and salad. The chicken tasted nice, pleasant fragrant spices rather than heat which is what I'd prefer at lunch time. The chips were pretty standard and the salad was fresh. Very enjoyable and good value for money. I'd go again maybe try something else.
Great street food and great prices. The chicken sandwich £3.50 is fantastic from this vendor. The by the slice pizza is great, baked fresh all day long. Tried a kubba for £1.50, it's mince meat and spices wrapped in rice, absolutely lovely.
the baklava were juicyyy this corner seems to be very popular! quite a few people lining up all the time
My friend and I had chicken shawarma and fries for £5.50 each which is fairly reasonable. Chips were nice but portion was small. Shawarma wrap was good in terms of taste but the chicken was nowhere near hot enough. We should have taken it back but didn't. Sort it out guys and I'd have given you 4 or 5 stars.
The restaurant is small and located inside the market hall. Most of the food items are Middle Eastern and Arabic. I recommend this restaurant to everyone who wants to visit this beautiful place. The food is delicious and tastes good. The service is good and fast, there are plenty of chairs and tables to eat there. The falafel sandwich is great, as well as the chicken shawarma.
Great place for a quiality food right in the heart of the city centre. Located inside Kirkgate market, and they are the best, I tried them multiple times, never been less than perfect. I tried their Falafel, shawarma and baklava and they are all absolutely delightful. Their bread is also fabulous and they bake it a fresh everyday.
The worst dining experience of my life staff were beyond rude, asked for 2 meal deals for me and my 12 year old daughter...The member of staff, was unbelievably rude, miss heard the order and still wouldn't accept an additional payment for a meal deal, food was cold, recommend you go to falafel stand near the Victoria Gate entrance of leeds market next to the exotic fudge and olive store....the food was fresh, falafel were crispy and filling and the staff were polite and welcoming...
I recommend this place for everyone and no1 bakery in leeds best baklava, sandwiches and pizza slice, there breads very fresh made at the day!
It's not a bakery it's a takeaway I went there thinking there would be cakes, pastries , Turkish sweet treats but there was nothing there
Got take out and the pizza tasted like it had been left out and reheated after 3 days. Not even reheated properly as it was cold when arrived.
