Poor communication but okay job repairing an iPad Pro new model. I was told the display would need to be ordered and can take a few working days plus a couple working days for fitting… then we had poor communication. I got a message saying the screen part had arrived in store, drop off the device. I left the iPad for over a week and had no contact. I tried calling the store and got no answer. In store, if the phone rings, staff ignore the phone. I went in store to ask the progress and the staff said ‘the technician is ill, it should take a couple more days’… on this visit, I think I even saw the iPad part disassembled left on the side.. Anyhow, I left it a few more days then visited the store. I was asked to pay the final balance then given the repaired iPad. Again, no message to say it was ready. Communication is a joke. I did quiz the technician and was told these are ‘non OEM parts’. I did a battery drain test with the original Retina display before the repair, the new screen seems to give slightly worse battery performance not enough to care but definitely different. The repaired screen looks good I don’t notice much/if any difference in colours…
Very pleased with the service I received. I was told that to change my charging port I would need to get my screen repaired too as there was a tiny crack at the bottom of my phone, so it would have costed £108. But the gentleman who served me said he would try his best to not damage the screen further, so I would only have to pay £49 for the charging port. And he did it! Really helpful, and I only had to wait just over an hour to get my phone fixed. :
Came here to get a iPhone 10s Max screen repaired.. and the whole appointment and booking in session was absolutely spot on they had the screen replaced serviced the ports and connectors serviced... I wanted the ear piece changed but they gave me honest advice and said it may not need it replacing based on what I told then.. I also got a proper screen protector heat sealed.. and even got honest warranty... highly recommend these guys.
Have tried to call this store over 10 times in the past 3 days to find out more information on a repair to a Samsung S20 Ultra and no answer. I have tried all 3 department options and still nothing. Possibly better to remove your contact number from your GBP if you not going to pick up customers calls. Guess I wont be using these services.
Staff was really helpful with helping fix my phone. Just needed a quick clean in the end. Monti was especially knowledgeable and helpful. Highly recommend :
I have had such a bad experience with Ismash and I would advise everyone to avoid it on all costs. I booked my note 20 ultra for broken screen replacement via Samsung on Tuesday 14th November for following Saturday the 19th November. I received the appointment confirmation email from Ismash so there was no doubt. When I arrive at the shop I was told that they didn't have the parts, and will get in touch on Monday. I wasted half of Saturday travelling. Despite emails and calls I am still waiting for response. It was complete waste of time for me. Ismash is no special I can get new screen from my local shop straight away and lot cheaper. Leson well learnt... Never again! M.Jamil Manchester
Very poor service, charge £20 to diagnosis a fault but can't actually confirm the fault or even fix it. Still charged £20, for what exactly?! It's just a scam, they're hoping the battery is faulty so they can charge you more on that. Will be lodging a complaint with trading standards. Also very poor communication, they will not respond no matter how many times you reach out.
Went in to get a USB C charging port replaced ~£10 for the part + £20-30 ish for 30-45 mins of labour and was offered £80 complete rip off! £35-45 is normal for such a repair. even £50 at a push but not £80
Incredible service, had a sticky power button and they fixed it within 5 minutes using ISO alcohol and compressed air. Didn't even charge me for it!
Quick service for a fair price. Phone screen repair for a Pixel 4a took less time than expected and was finished to a high standard.
