Due to a breakdown with our car, we ended up at Isallt Guest House last minute. We are very pleased with the B&B and the owners. The rooms were complete and spotlessly clean. Because our car was being repaired remotely, we were offered a ride to the garage by the owner. Super kind and we are very grateful! We received walking routes and a simple but excellent breakfast. There was also an option to order lunch the day before for a very affordable amount. We are also very excited about the possibility of Gluten-free options as my friend has a gluten allergy. All in all, we highly recommend Isallt Guest House!

Overall it's good value. Richard is extremely nice and helpful. The view and location is absolutely superb. Right next to the railway, in the centre of Blaenau ffestiniog next to all you need, surrounded by slate mountain range, and great views.nnIt's only let down is the general cleanliness of the rooms. Granted the beds and towels bathrooms are clean. However there is dust on skirtings, spiderwebs in places, and mould patches.nnIf you can tolerate the room, and balance it against the price and location which can't be beat. You will have an ok stay, the holiday visit should wash away any complaints you have against it's negatives.

Strange owner, he would never seem to talk to you in one go. seems like the bare minimum of 'breakfast' you got a muffin some yogurt bar and a drink, I could hardly call that a breakfast. Pretty good service and a very good location. 3 stars.

Lovely, welcoming place. Good in room facilities. Very well placed in Blaenau Ffestiniog. Onsite parking. Good base for exploring the area. Breakfast bag available from 6am may not be everyone's preference but worked fine for me.

Lovely place Richard is brilliant. So very kind. We came here to honeymoon away for a few quite days and they where lovely gave us a beautiful bunch of flowers and a card. Service wonderful. Rooms clean bathroom dining room everything 5 stars. Couldn't and wouldn't fault the place. Lovely and warm at winter time November 15th 2023 just a huge thank you.
