IFT is a labour of love, established in the basement of the Corn Exchange by a visionary councillor in the 80s, and run entirely by dedicated volunteers who evidently love film. It does everything a cinema needs to do unless you require over-priced hot dogs and seats that move, it's super-reasonable and shows a great selection of more marginal, indy flicks. Long live IFT!

I love IFT, always a great selection of films and re-releases. Staff know what they're talking about and always have something interesting to say. Great value for money when it comes to ticket prices and concessions.. where else can you get a good cup of tea for 50p!
